We want to share the story of a courageous single mother who recently took a huge step forward. After experiencing homelessness, she entered the Pearl’s Hope program and has worked tirelessly to build a better life for herself and her 8-month-old son — who she has now joyfully reunified with.

When she arrived at the program, she brought all she could for her baby, but only had two outfits for herself and a single pair of flip-flops.

Today, she’s proud to be working as a cashier — on her feet for hours each day — and she’s asking for a small lift to keep going strong.

She’s in need of: 👟 A comfortable pair of black work shoes (size 10) 👕 Gently used or new shirts in XL or 2XL (she prefers black and darker colors) Amazon Gift Card

Hello everyone! I have a mother and 1 year old child on my caseload who is in need of food assistance. Mom is engaged in services and has completed most of what is being asked of her. Mom is in need of food in order to care for herself and child. Please help this mom with this basic need. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Parents are needing help starting their domestic violence services. They are both needing help with paying the assessment fee as they are currently between jobs and have not yet received unemployment. They are both trying to get started on their services as quickly as possible to try and get their two children home.

OKDHS is working with a family. They have two girls that have recently been reunified with the parents in their home after the parents have made great progress providing safety for their kids. Both parents recently became employed full time but are struggling to make ends meet and trying to catch up from being unemployed. Their children are starting a new school soon and this school will provide a fantastic supportive educational environment for these bright and talented young ladies. We are asking for help with providing these young ladies some school uniforms to help the parents prepare for the upcoming school year. The girls need plain navy polo shirts and t-shirts. The also need plain navy sweatshirts. (no hoodies) They are also in need of navy, black, or khaki slacks, shorts, and sweatpants. Sizing information will be provided directly by the parents. Bio dad in need of $95 assessment fee for services. Dad is willing to engage in services but unable to afford the assessment fee. Dad is currently caring for two children and working full time. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

A 5-year-old girl got accepted into a specialized school and behavioral health program that will greatly benefit her emotional well-being and provide her foster parent with the necessary support to continue parenting her. To attend the program, she must wear sneakers. This foster parent would greatly appreciate assistance with providing a pair in size 11. Additionally, the foster parent will be traveling an extra 50 miles per day to drop her off and pick her up and would appreciate a gas card to assist with the cost of gas.

We have three kiddos in need of summer clothes, as they have grown out of their clothes from last year, and natural mother is taking some time off work with the birth of her new baby this month leading to tight finances. Sizes are boys 5T, boys 4T, and girls 3T. This family is also in need of baby boy or gender neutral clothing of all sizes, as they prepare for his arrival this month. Any help is appreciated!

We have a family in need of help with a few items. The first is two 5-point carseats for a 1 and 2 year old, as they are close to outgrowing their current ones. This family is also in need of assistance with transportation, whether from bus passes, gas cards, an Uber/Lyft card, or assistance with a vehicle, as the natural mother continues struggling with financial instability. This would help her maintain the ability to get to work, family time, and other services. A biological mother is in need of two booster seats for her two young children so she can begin transporting them to and from visits with the children.

A mother is working to reunify with her newborn baby. She doesn't have transportation at this time and is in need of a bus pass so she's able to participate in the services needed for her to reunify with her child. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Please help preserve this kinship placement with 2 out of the 4 children which are placed with their great Aunt. The children are ages 2 & 6 and are having a hard time eating solid foods and was directed by medical professionals to start to blend the children food due to internal health concerns. The family is requesting a blender and help make the children smoothies. The family has also requested help with stimulating the children learning and has asked for any educational help. Things like flash cards, puzzles, books and educational toys. Both children are Autistic, and the family asked for help with sensory toys that can help the children in any way possible and help with gas back and forth to their numerous appointments. The family is also in the process of potty training the 2-year-old and has asked for help with a potty chair and pull ups. This family needs a bus pass to make it to their family visitations to see their 4 daughters weekly. Both mom and dad only transportation currently is by bus and the family is requesting help.
