Hands of Hope

Family is staying at Riley Hospital with their newborn child. Father also has to travel to and from work. The family is struggling to afford gas for the excessive travel between their home, Riley Hospital, and Father's job. The family is estimated to be at the hospital another 4 weeks.

An aunt is placement for her 2 nephews, ages 4 and 9, as well as her niece, who is 10 years old. She is requesting toys for the children. The 10-year-old girl likes Barbies, Brats, Horses, and books. The boys lik dinosaur, educational toys, and outside toys.

Single mom and three children, have full size mattress but need box spring/bed frame to go with it for appropriate sleeping arrangements for family.

Family friends have placed of a 6-year-old female. The family lived directly across from a pond. They are in need of a pole and buoy to ensure water safety.

Multiple families living in 1 household. 6 children are living with their stepmother, as well as 2 more children residing in the home with their grandmother, and a 3rd family also living in the same home.

8 children need clothes. Bio mother is residing in a homeless shelter out of state.

Mother is a victim of domestic violence and has cut all contact with the batterer. Mother is fearful the father will try to retaliate against her or the children. Mother would like help getting a security camera for her front door due to the father attempting to break in recently. A wireless door video camera is preferred.

Mother has three children in the home. She tries to maintain the home on her own. She has a very outdated refrigerator and it has now stopped working. Providers have helped her with her electricity bill and she needs a new refrigerator so that she can maintain the food for her children. Fridge size - 29.75" deep, 35.25" wide, 68.75"

Child (4) has been detained and grandparents have become placement. Grandparents have cared for child for majority of child's life. One of the grandparent's ID is expired, and is needed to be replaced to get fingerprinted and be eligible for continued placement. Grandparents are meeting with our kinship navigator to be set up with resources for financial security.

Paternal aunt took in her 13 year old nephew when her mother, his caregiver passed. Since the child has been in her home, it has been a struggle to put clothes on him, with his growth spirt. Placement is asking for help with purchasing him some new clothes that fit. He is a waist 32, length 32 in pants and shorts. Shirts he is a size xs in mens or in younger mens size he is a XL.

We are working with a young aunt who took custody of her four teenage nephews/niece as well as the niece's toddler. She has two children of her own as well and is supporting them all. They are in need of food as soon as possible. If anyone is willing to order them groceries or provide a grocery card, that would be amazing. However you can help would be appreciated. We are working with two children, a boy (8) and a girl (9) who were just placed in a foster home with absolutely nothing of their own. We have provided clothing, but we are hoping someone can provide some toys for them. The boys is interested in cars and trucks and Nerf guns. The girl is interested in Barbie dolls and accessories, Hatchimals (the Golden Egg?) and Polly Pockets. They both also like art supplies. Thank you so much for your consideration.

A relative placement is in need of summer clothing for 3 children. The girl is age 12, boys are 8 and 10 years old. The girl wears size medium/large 14/16 clothes, and shoe size 9. The boys both wear size 9/10 clothes and shoe size 4. The family is low income and relies on the relative stipend to pay for bills and pay for all other expenses. The children are in need of summer clothes since they have outgrown their previous summer clothing.
