We have youth being released from residential treatment in the next week or so and are reaching out to see if we can find a source for a punching bag. The residential facility has successfully used the punching bag and heavy bags to help focus the youths aggression and work out some of his anger. Since using this method the youth has not had any unsafe incidents. We would like to continue this therapeutic training as the child transitions home. Ideally it would be a free standing bag as we unsure the family has a secure spot to hang a bag. The 100lb bag by itself costs around $100 with a stand costing an additional $100.

Help this strengthen this family who is in need of next month's rent and to catch up on their utility bills. Mom is working to get a job to support the family but has had no luck in the job field as of yet.

I have a family that is working to stay together. The mother just got approval to move into her new apartment with her young child. She is needing to get all of her belongings out of storage but due to unfortunate circumstances she could not keep up with the monthly payment. Her storage unit is up for auction this Friday July 18, 2025. With this assistance mom will not need to start over in her new apartment. Everything she currently owns is inside of the storage unit.

A parent here at the Mission needs underwear and bras, and we don't have any of these items in her size. Her two children also need summer clothing and shoes.

This family has been with us for a few weeks, and the items they brought in with them need to be discarded. We believe that every single person has sacred value, and we do all we can to preserve the dignity of the clients at the Mission. A key way we preserve their dignity is to give them the essential items they need.

The parent wears size M in ladies' underwear. Her bra size is 32A. We never receive this size when we get donations.

The children's sizes are as follows: *5t for girl's pants, shirts , dresses, and shorts. *7/8 for boy's pants and shirts. *Girl size 8 in shoes. *Boy size 2 in shoes.

We have requested clothing from Note in the Pocket for another family, and it took a month to get the items delivered. Our hope is this request will ensure this family has their essentials much more quickly.

A child of 3 years old (boy) has a small car bed that he has grown out of that was bought by his prior placement. This bed is small for him and that he constantly rolls out of it at night. Mother has to put pillows below the bed so he doesn't hurt himself rolling off the bed. Mother recently reunited with son and does not have the proper bed for him to sleep in.

Hello, I am asking for assistance with a single mother of 4 who is need of a used, reliable vehicle big enough for 5 as her only vehicle is no longer working. This single mother has a special needs young adult child that is reliant on her 24/7 care. She also has a toddler and 2 teenagers. The family is engaged in services and this mother is worried about getting the children to and from their doctor appointments, specialist appointments, therapy sessions, and classes. This mother is doing everything she can for her children and any help will help keep this bio family together. Thank you so much for your generosity and assistance keeping this family together.

Kinship home is in need of beds for the family to be able to keep the children. Bunk bed for two teenager girls. Twin size bed set for a 10 year old boy, sports (football or blue),Twin Bed set for the teenager girls bunk beds. The family is also in need of two dressers for the children.

Auntie has taken an 11-month-old nephew into care. Toddler bed & mattress, bedding, highchair, stroller, something to keep clothes in, clothes and socks 18 months, diapers and wipes size 4. Baby boy came with nothing, and he is very active and is cutting teeth and keeping his clothes wet from drooling. Auntie would benefit greatly from assistance and the baby would be easier to take care of. Thank you for any assistance.

A foster home is needing help with pull ups and Pediasure for a 4-year-old Autistic female child this month. Due to the child's diagnosis she has to wear pull ups at daycare and when she is away from the home. The child is a picky eater and struggles with food textures, so the doctor recommends Pediasure. The child has to wear a specific brand of pulls ups Huggies Pull Ups Skin Essential with Elsa as the character instead of Toy Story. The child will not put the pull up on if it's not Elsa. A size 4t/5t. The Pediasure flavor has to be vanilla, or she will not drink it. Any help will greatly be appreciated! Thank you so much!

3 children were taken into custody with no clothing items of their own. We are needing clothes sizes : shirts Women's Small to med, Pants small or 2-4, Shoes women's size 9. Women's shirt and pants 16-18, shoe size 12. Boys clothes 14/16 in both shirts and pants and shoes size men 7.

IIS is requesting assistance in paying a family’s electricity bill. A single mother of four who is helping her cousin and their child has had her electricity turned off by Evergy. Mom has worked diligently to reach out to local resources and even attempted to take out a loan to pay off her bill. Prior to the electricity being turned off, the mom had believed that there was an automatic pledge assisting with this bill. She was unaware of the bill's high amount until the electricity was turned off. Currently, we have not been able to find a resource that can assist in meeting this need elsewhere in the community. The family is currently unable to stay in the home due to the significant heat the area is experiencing. There are 2 adults in the home. There are five children, ages 10, 6, 5, 3, 1.

If we are able to meet this need the family can resume staying in the home and safely avoid the excessive heat. If the family is able to resume staying in the home they can begin to focus on using their finances to pay off debt and not seek out temporary living stations (hotels, etc).

The bill is currently 730 dollars to get the electricity back on in the home. At this time, IIS and its organization are approved to pay approximately 430 dollars. Any additional assistance meeting the remainder of the 300 dollars to get the electricity into the home would be amazing to help this family.

Please help strengthen this bio family who is in need of assistance with a new deposit for a rental home. They are moving away from their previous home where their case took place and want a fresh start.
