A sweet baby was recently placed in care, and their foster parent is in need of a baby bouncer. This small item would make a big difference in supporting the placement and giving the caregiver a helpful tool during this transition.

One of our teens in specialty court recently had his phone stolen while at camp. He's been really shaken up by the experience and is hesitant to return. As you can imagine, not having a phone can feel like the end of the world for a teenager — it’s their lifeline to friends, support, and some sense of normalcy.

The family is experiencing hardship and can't afford a pack and play for their 1-year-old son to have his separate sleeping area. The 1-year-old is currently sleeping in the bed with his parents, which is unsafe.

Single mother received help from the homeless authority in securing an apartment. The following items are needed for the family to be established. She needs bath towels, spoons, forks, curtains, cleaning supplies, tv and toiletries.

Two Preteen boys are placed with relatives in what is perhaps the best situation possible for them. Both of them love their family and want to stay there as long as possible. Unfortunately, even though they adore the placement, they currently have to sleep on the same mattress. As both children grow older, they need a little bit more room thrive and come into their own. Having a bunk bed, each with a separate mattress, would ensure them the privacy, space, and sense of ownership they need to continue to grow and truly thrive in this placement. We have already managed to secure one twin mattress, but we just need a little help with the last mattress and the frame.

Hi! I have a toddler who is starting daycare and is in need of a couple of uniforms. The sizes are toddlers 3T and 4T. Her shoes are a size 7. The uniforms are Red Tops and Khaki Pants. Any assistance with obtaining the uniforms would be greatly appreciated.

Youth age 19 is a first-time expecting mother who will be delivering next month. She is seeking assistance with purchasing a Glamommy Delivery & Postpartum Recovery Essentials Kit.

We are currently serving a teenage boy who came to the U.S. unaccompanied after losing his father to cancer in his home country at the end of last year. After spending time in an Office of Refugee Resettlement-funded shelter, he was reunified with his uncle—his sponsor—and now lives with him in a modest three-bedroom trailer shared with a cousin and a family friend.

This teen is now enrolled in school and working hard to adjust to life in a new country. He also lives with a seizure condition that began in childhood and requires consistent medication. The cost of his condition places an unpreventable financial burden on the household, which is already limited in resources.

Currently, he and his older cousin share a single mattress on the floor of a small bedroom. While the family is doing all they can, they are unable to afford proper beds at this time.

We are seeking help to provide a bunk bed—ideally a full-over-full, though any size would be a blessing—to create a safer, more comfortable sleeping arrangement for both our youngster and his older cousin. A bed may seem like a small thing, but for this family, it would make a meaningful difference in health, comfort, and stability. Thank you so much for considering serving this family

The child has recently been returned to her mother from a kinship placement. The mother is currently pregnant and in need of support to provide clothing and school uniforms for her daughter. The child is a female and wears the following sizes:

Shoes: Size 1

Shirts: Size 7/8

Pants: Size 7/8

Any assistance with clothing and school uniform needs would be greatly appreciated.

Grandparents have taken over care for 3 children after the mother was arrested and are in need of immediate support. Female age 10 wear 14/16 clothes and size 4 shoes. Male age 10 wears a size 10 in clothes and a size 2 shoe. Female age 5 wears a size 4/5 in clothes and a size 11 toddler in shoes.

Brightside Advocacy is seeking support to outfit three dedicated workstations in our new office space for the Brighter Futures program, which serves older youth transitioning out of foster care. Specifically, we are requesting two desktop computers and one laptop to support workforce development, GED preparation, and essential life skills training.

Since moving to a larger office, we’ve been able to create three cubicles specifically for our youth participants. Each week, 3–5 young people use this space to study for the GED, build resumes, apply for jobs, schedule healthcare appointments, and learn to navigate adult responsibilities. However, we currently lack the equipment needed to fully utilize these stations.

Providing computers for these workspaces would greatly enhance our ability to deliver consistent, individualized support. Access to reliable technology is critical for our youth to build independence and achieve stability as they prepare to exit care.

We will happily accept gently used computers, but they need to be able to access the wifi.
