This request is being submitted on behalf of a family that is currently participating with Hope Florida. This family of four is struggling to meet their children’s basic needs. The mother and father moved from Chile to the US 3 years ago along with their two kids. Upon arrival, the family of 4 was living with relatives. This living arrangement lasted for a little over 1 year. The family then moved into their own place, but because they are starting all over again in a new country, the family is not yet finically stable. The husband is working but feels his earnings are barely enough to cover the expenses. The mother is currently expecting and is due to give birth In June of 2025. Client’s 2-year-old and 7-years old needs some basic hygiene items along with clothing. Without out the help, the children will go without their basic needs being met. Teenage female has faced many challenges in her 13 years of life. She has had to take care of both herself and her mother and has experienced trauma no child should ever experience. Despite everything she has encountered, she remains to be a vibrant and positive child. The items that are being requested are to help ease the child's burden while living in a group home. The children were living in hazardous conditions. The children are placed with relatives and are in need of clothes, shoes and additional food.

the family consists of maternal grandmother, dad, and 3 children. MGM's medical issues prevent her from keeping up with household maintenance. Dad helps as much as he can. The front yard has some items that need to be removed. There is a broken window in the front yard. Given the children's young age, the family would benefit greatly from these services.

Minor siblings were safely reunified with their mother following immediate removal from the father. The father was the custodial parent, thus provider of the children but now the children are currently sheltered away from the father. The mother is currently unemployed, though actively seeking employment but needs assistance with new uniforms and shoes for the children as they are now registered at a new school. This request will help benefit the family by helping with school uniforms in order for the children to attend school. In following, the mother will be able to obtain a job once the children are in school. sole caregiver for her two grandchildren placed in her care by the Department in 2023. The family resides in low-income housing. The family moved on 1/31/25 to a new home as they found a more affordable housing option for their family. The family is currently in need of some furniture, including: a chest of drawers or dresser, a couch, and a dining set. The addition of the above items will allow the family to have furniture and stabilize the placement of the children in the home. It will allow the caregiver to utilize the monthly stipend provided for the children placed to provide items for the children instead of having to purchase furniture.
