Please help support a permanent custody kiddo who has moved to a new placement. This youth has no kinship involved in his life and has been placed in a boys home that can cater to his cognitive functioning. He is in need of a 32 inch TV that will fit into the safety mount for the wall of his room. He also is in need of summer clothing. He wears a size 2 xl in tops and bottoms. We appreciate the support of the community for our kiddo.

Hello Ya'll! We have a sibling group of 4 children in an out of home safety plan with a family member. The resource family has gone from no children to 4 children in very fast amount of time. With school approaching quickly, the family is requesting some assistance in providing school clothes and shoes for the children. Meeting this need will help secure this out of home placement and keep all 4 children together while their parents work toward reunification. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. The parents are new to foster care and are looking to foster their niece. To make this placement happen there are a few things the family needs to be successful.

A cousin took in 2 of her cousins children and is in need of a highchair for safety and eating together at the table.

Family is in desperate need of 4 twin size mattresses for their children. The family is a low-income family that is struggling to pay the basic needs of the home, leaving no extra funds for mattresses for the children and currently facing a serious financial hardship.
The mattresses the children are currently sleeping on are old, worn out and are falling apart, and with the rising cost of living, there simply is nothing left over to replace the mattresses. Any help for this family would greatly be appreciated.

This single mother of five is an unemployed full-time student and is needing assistance with a twin size bed frame and mattress for her son.
Her son is currently sharing the bed with his mother until there is help with getting one due to financial difficulties. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

This single mom has been working hard to maintain her sobriety and pay off all of her fines. She works full-time and the Fort Smith Transit is her reliable source of transportation. She pays for all of her bills and rent without any assistance. She is doing everything she can to keep up with her fines, rent and bills. This assistance would help her continue working hard so that eventually she can save up enough money to move into a 2 bedroom apartment. Her goal is to move into a 2 bedroom so that she can reunify with her daughter. I have no doubt that she will accomplish this one day. A monthly bus pass allows her to use the Fort Smith Transit for the entire month without a limit.

This dad has worked very hard to reunify with his son. He overcame an eviction and was finally able to move into his own place which is one of the many requirements to reunify with his son. He has attended and graduated from parenting classes and recently got a new job that has better benefits and pays more therefore he hopes that helps him continue his path to stability for his son. He is only requesting needs for his son's bedroom in hopes that helps speed up the process to reunify with his son.

A father recently received approval for weekend visits with his children, who are currently in foster care—a major milestone in his journey to reunify his family. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he was recently laid off from work. This unexpected job loss has placed a severe financial strain on the family, causing them to fall behind on rent and now face possible eviction.

Losing their housing would be a devastating setback, potentially undoing all the progress they've made toward bringing their children home. Despite these challenges, the father remains determined. He has multiple job interviews lined up and is actively working to regain stability. The family has managed to save enough to cover half of their rent, but they need support to bridge the gap and stay housed.

This is a resilient and loving family fighting to stay together. Any help to keep them in their home would make a meaningful difference.

The foster mom is in need of a slim car seat with a shade (preferably a Baby Trend Trooper 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat with Canopy) to transport the child to medical appointments and other places. The child has medical issues and will have numerous appointments on a consistent basis. The car seat given by the parents was stained very badly and was not the proper size for a toddler. The foster parent cares for children with medical/ special needs and would greatly benefit from the support of having a versatile car seat that she can take wherever she needs to go.

I recently placed a child with maternal grandmother. Grandmother is on a fixed income and doesn’t received a foster subsidy. The family has a dryer but no washer. Any help would greatly be appreciated! Thank you!

A young family of three, including their seven-month-old daughter, is in urgent need of assistance as they prepare to move into their own home. Over the past year, they have been working hard to renovate and make a trailer livable, dedicating time, effort, and limited resources to create a safe and stable environment for their growing family.

They are now in the final stages of this process and are just a few steps away from being able to move in. The only remaining items they need are essential appliances: a refrigerator, stove, washer, and dryer. These items are crucial for them to begin living independently and caring for their baby in a proper home environment.

At the moment, they are staying with extended family, but space and circumstances are not ideal for a young child. In order to keep this family together and support their transition into self-sufficiency, we are seeking help from the community to secure these final items.
