This request is made to help safeguard the kinship placement of a 9-year-old girl who is currently in the care of a new caregiver. While the caregiver is doing a great job managing household bills, getting the child's essential needs and providing a stable environment, the rising grocery costs and household costs are becoming a challenge. A gift card to help offset these costs would make a world of difference, allowing the caregiver to continue providing the best care possible for this young child without the added strain. This act of kindness would truly support their efforts to give her a nurturing home and ensure her needs are met. Thank you so much!

The family was displaced from a hurricane in 2022 and have been in and out of hotels for the last couple of years. They just obtained stable and safe housing. The mother is working to provide for the children and the grandmother is there as a support to the family. They have most of the household items they need in the new home but the two children need beds of their own as they are currently sleeping on blowup mattresses. The children are preschool age and the mother would like them to have their own separate twin size beds and mattresses. (no bunk beds if possible so the children will not fight over who gets the top bunk, but if this is the only option, they will definitely take them!). They would also like 2 dressers to go with the beds (one for each child) and have no preference on color for beds or dressers. There is one boy and one girl so they could also use bedding/blankets/pillows for their respective genders. No specifics requested. The most urgent items needed are the mattresses/bed frames as we can try to find the other items elsewhere if needed but any and all items/help is appreciated.

Family friends have been helping out the grandparents since the beginning of the case and providing respite. Now they have become the fulltime caregivers or a beautiful 3 month old little girl. As she becomes more mobile the caregivers are asking from some supplies to help her with development. Baby Gym play mat for tummy time, Activity Jumper, baby nail kit, Bumbo seat with tray for core strength and eating and is mobile. Below are some sample items from Amazon.
