This survivor came to us with two children whom she adopted after being in foster care for 5 years. She is a survivor of domestic violence. When she came to us, we were able to get her into shelter and assisted her with job security. We have worked since December 2024 and just got approval for her new home for her and the children.

A strong and determined mother is navigating a major life transition. Recently divorced, she now stands as the primary caregiver for her children and is doing everything she can to create a stable, loving environment for her family.

She is actively seeking employment opportunities to regain her footing. Her resilience is clear—she is committed to rebuilding her life and providing for her children, and she is taking the necessary steps to move forward.

At this time, the household is in need of basic essentials, including clothing for herself and her children. Meeting these immediate needs will help ease some of the challenges they are facing and give her the momentum she needs to thrive.

A resilient family who has recently transitioned out of homelessness is in need of household necessities since they have just moved into their own home—a major milestone and a fresh start!

Currently, the father is diligently searching for work and, after facing several challenges, is now partnered with an organization to receive job placement support. We are hopeful that with the right guidance and resources, he will soon be able to secure stable employment.

As they begin this new chapter, the family is in urgent need of basic household items. They have no furniture, which makes it difficult to create a safe and livable space. Additionally, their young son is in need of clothing appropriate for the season (size 14).

This family recently moved and is in need of either two bed frames for teenagers. Or a bunk bed frame for teenager girls. (Not the mattress) The family is not picky and beyond grateful for any help you could give.

I’m reaching out on behalf of a mother and her three children who are going through a difficult divorce from an abusive partner. The three children are in urgent need of mattresses as they rebuild their lives in a safe space. They are currently without beds, and the lack of proper sleeping arrangements is adding additional stress and hardship to an already challenging situation. They are in need of a twin mattress and a full mattress for a bunk bed frame they already have. Any assistance would be deeply appreciated. Your support would help them greatly during this challenging time.

This family is expecting a girl in July. They have three other children and are struggling financially. They have a limited support system that is able to help. They need help with a basinet as things are becoming more expensive.

This mother experienced an emergency and was not able to bring essential items for her children. The mother is in need of two toddler beds and mattresses for her children, ages 2 and 4. The mother is beyond grateful for beds for her children and is not picky upon colors or materials used.

The mother also is requesting a bouncer or activity table, to increase her infants fine motor skills. Meanwhile, allowing her infant to remain secured safely inside.

Single mother with 5 small children has recently been abandoned by her children’s father. The mother and children are experiencing trauma due to the abandonment of the children’s father. They are facing a loss of income and loss of the fatherly support in the home that is so needed. The single mother is hardworking and doing what she can to make ends meet along with comforting her children’s devastating lost to the absent parent. Currently the mother is unemployed and looking for remote work to get her family back on their feet. The children need beds, and she cannot afford the beds they need at this time. We are requesting a toddler bed, mattress and bedding and twin bed, mattress and bedding. We would appreciate any assistance for this family trying to rejuvenate itself and move forward. Single mother with one child was recently a victim of a tragic event that caused her to have to leave her home abruptly. She and her daughter were forced to leave their prior residence due to rent becoming too expensive. She had secured a place for her and her daughter immediately with a friend. After some time, she was asked to leave because her time there had run out. She is now living with her mother and sleeping on her floor until she can save enough money for a new affordable place of her own. She is a working part-time and taking care of her daughter looking for full-time employment to secure a new residence. We are requesting some assistance with clothing, household goods, and hygiene products for both mother and daughter while they are saving to get back on their feet and create a new life for the family. The father Adrian McCarthy was reunified with his four children as of 2/28/25. He is a single father and is in need of some furniture for his home to help make it complete!

The mother and her 2 daughters have been living in the shelter since 1/30, and her son has been staying with a friend so he didn't have to switch schools. They will be moving into a house on 4/18, and the family needs everything to get started, but most of all, beds and furniture. Mother will also be starting a new job in the next few weeks, and this assistance with getting her the necessities will help her pay other bills, such as her cell bill, JEA, and bus passes.

A family facing significant challenges, including health limitations are in need of basic personal hygiene items and beds for their 16-year-old daughter, 12-year-old daughter, and 11-year-old son. Providing these essentials will greatly improve their health, well-being, and stability. Meeting these basic needs will significantly improve the family’s overall quality of life and well-being.
