Dear community, we continue to support a courageous family facing a difficult situation. Over Memorial Day weekend, the father was detained while returning home from work due to his immigration status. He remains in detention at the Stewart facility, and the mother is now carrying the full weight of caring for their two children and managing all household expenses on her own.

She has continued working her regular job and is doing everything she can to stay afloat. Thanks to our summer camp program, the children have had a safe space to learn and grow during the day, allowing their mother to pick up more hours at work.

Despite her efforts, she is struggling to make rent for the upcoming month. The costs of legal representation and basic household needs have stretched her finances thin. We are reaching out once again to ask for your support in helping this family remain in their home and avoid further instability. Any contribution toward their rent would mean the world to this mother and her children. Thank you for standing by them with compassion and solidarity during this challenging time.

Dear community, we are reaching out to support a hardworking single mother of four who has recently lost her full-time job cleaning hotel rooms due to a drop in bookings. She is now only working two days a week and actively looking for more work. Her job search has been especially difficult due to her legal status in this country, but despite the challenges, she remains hopeful. She is not currently receiving food stamps or child support, which has made it even harder to stay afloat.

She is now short on rent for July 1st, especially after falling behind on her electricity bill. Our organization is stepping in to help with groceries, and basic needs — and we are also working to help her find additional resources. We are doing everything we can to help her and her children stay in their apartment and avoid eviction.

If you’re able to support with some of the rent, no matter how small, it would make a real difference for this family during this difficult time. Thank you for your compassion and solidarity.

Mom passed away years ago and dad is a single parent who has struggled to manage all of the responsibilities as a single father. He is working with DFCSs to improve the condition of the home due to the condition it’s gotten to over the years. Dad is in need of a delivered dumpster, dump hauling services, and any cleaning supplies or cleaning support that can be provided. If this is able to be completed the child will be able to safely transition back home.

A single mother who is in between jobs currently and has very little money to get groceries and put gas in her car for the next week to make it to job interviews. This mom is requesting assistance with getting a grocery gift card and a gas card.

The child (14-year-old female) is needing some essential items. She will be starting high school in a few months. She is placed with a relative while the father is working a case plan. The family requested that they are needing assistance with receiving clothes for back to school. She is a medium in shirts and was stated to vary in pant sizes from 5 to 9 depending on the style. She is on the smaller side. She wears a size 7.5 shoe.

We have two children, ages 5 and 6, that sadly had to come into foster care yesterday. There is a relative that the children are very bonded with that are able to take the kids but do not have beds for them and do not have the financial means to buy two beds. We are requesting two beds (toddler or twin) or one full bed that the kids can share. This will allow the children to be able to live with their family member that they are bonded with and to limit their trauma from having to go to a foster home that is unknown to them

Kinship Foster Placement of 3 children need assistance with repairing an older air conditioning unit. One repair mechanic offered to charge for $350. If it can not be repaired will purchase a window unit to assist with keeping these 3 children in the care of family. It is imperative to assist these children that are victims of domestic violence stay in a place that is secure and as close to home as they can.

Hello everyone, I am reaching out to see if we can help a youth who has graduated high school and is not in a college program. The youth recently moved into his own apartment as part of the independent living program. The youth is seeking assistance with groceries and an uber gift card to search for a job. Please assist this youth on his journey to adulthood. Thank you for all that you do.

I am currently working with a single father of two children. They are a low-income family who just had to move out of their apartment into a new apartment and throw all of their things away. The family is in need of bedding, clothing or gift cards for clothing for the 6 year old and 8 year old, food or gift cards for the grocery story, and hygiene items.

The children each have a twin sized bed and each need bedding, dad has a king sized bed in need of bedding.

We have a 20-yr old client, who will be aging out of Foster Care, next month. She delivered her 1st baby, on 06/07/2025, and is in need of a baby carrier/sling, to more easily and safely transport her newborn son. She's, also, in need of a breast pump, to assist her with meeting his feeding needs and clothes small enough to fit a premature/newborn baby. Because she so recently delivered, she is unable to return to work, in the near future, to allow her the resources, to purchase these items.

Please consider opening your hearts and assisting us, in obtaining these items. Gift cards are preferred, no cash payments will be allowed.

A 17-year-old female youth is in need of clothing items, toiletries, and hair styling products. The Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) has exhausted all other available resources. The youth will need to go shopping to try on clothing to ensure the correct sizes, as she has spent several months in a facility and no longer fits her old clothes.
