Two year old male and ten year old female came into Children's Division custody due to substance abuse of the parents that directly affected the children. An aunt stepped up to take the children into her care. They are in need of several items to help welcome the children and make the home ready to be licensed as a kinship foster home. Family is in need of a dining room table and chairs, 4 baby gates, 2 packs of outlet covers, 2 packs of cabinet locks, 2 carbon monoxide detectors and 7 smoke alarms. The family will also need help installing the items. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seventeen year old female came into Children's Division custody when her parents were no longer able to care for her and did not make any arrangements for her care. A family friend has stepped up to take in the young lady and care for her. She is in need of a twin bed and a dresser.

I am reaching out on behalf of a youth in our care who is preparing to transition out of foster care and into independent living. She is a resilient young woman who has recently reconnected with her biological father and will be moving in with him as part of her transition plan. As she continues to work toward stability and independence, she is in need of a bed to help furnish her new home and support a safe, comfortable living environment. We are seeking a full-size bed (new or gently used), along with bedding if possible. She would like a fuzzy light pink 3 piece bedding set that she saw on Amazon for $44.00.

Previously, this youth was also in need of a laptop for College, which has since been addressed—thank you to those who contributed!

Assisting with a hotline report. A mother and her active 2 year old daughter are living in a facility that provides housing. The home is not child-proof. The apartment is appropriate however the mother and daughter share a twin-size bed. There is an additional bedframe in the apartment but no mattress. The family is in need of a toddler bed or twin size bed, bedding and child safety knobs for the doors and stove. These items will aid the family with safe sleep for the child and overall safety of the child in the home. Having these items will prevent that child and mother from sharing a twin size bed, improve her overall wellbeing.
