Baby boy was brought into custody due to physical abuse and a cousin has stepped up to take him in. She is in need of a few things in order for her home to be ready for him and to be licensed. She needs a 5 lb. fire extinguisher, a crib and a dresser. She could also benefit from a stroller for the child.

Four children came into care when their long term caregiver passed away. An aunt stepped up to take in and care for the children. Her family grew from 2 to 6 people so there are some growing pains in the household. To help get the home ready for being licensed, she needs a 5 lb. fire extinguisher and some of room dividers as the kids share a large room and different genders. The family could also use help with some grocery costs (2 of the kids are teen boys) as she has had to dip into her savings. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

A brother and sister, 4 and 10 years old entered state custody due to severe neglect and abuse. A relative has taken them and is in need of a couple of things to help get her home ready so she can be licensed to care for the children. She is in need of a 5 lb. fire extinguisher and a lock box to store medications. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

20 year old female came into state custody originally due to severe abuse when she was a young teenager. She has come a long way and is now ready to be in her own apartment and is working hard to better herself. The young lady is in need of a new bed for her apartment. She also needs a laptop as she will be starting college in the Fall. Any help would be much appreciated.

Assisting with a hotline report. A mother and her active 2 year old daughter are living in a facility that provides housing. The home is not child-proof. The apartment is appropriate however the mother and daughter share a twin-size bed. There is an additional bedframe in the apartment but no mattress. The family is in need of a toddler bed or twin size bed, bedding and child safety knobs for the doors and stove. These items will aid the family with safe sleep for the child and overall safety of the child in the home. Having these items will prevent that child and mother from sharing a twin size bed, improve her overall wellbeing.

We have a resilient and remarkable young woman who is preparing to begin her college journey this fall. At just 18, she’s already demonstrated incredible independence, strength, and determination. She’s been working since the age of 15 and saved enough to buy her first car—an amazing achievement that speaks volumes about her work ethic and drive.

She currently resides in a kinship placement that does not receive a stipend, yet she continues to thrive. She’s a natural leader, a fierce advocate for herself, and has a hilarious side—she’s known for playing practical jokes that keep everyone laughing. Her deep love for her family, sisters, and culture grounds her, and her compassion for others shines through in everything she does.

Despite carrying the weight of many responsibilities, she remains caring, funny, and focused on her future. We want to send her off to college with the support she deserves and a reminder of how proud we all are of her.

She could use some help gathering college essentials, such as: • School supplies (notebooks, pens (gel pens), highlighters, paper, binders, scientific calculator) • A nice backpack • Purple-themed items (her favorite color!) • Basic clothing (size med in shirts, size 8 in bottoms) • A laptop and wireless moust that fits into a backpack (if possible)

Hello Team!

I have a wonderful family that has agreed to take in their Great Niece as a kinship placement. The family has some financial struggles but are doing the best they can to meet their needs. Grandma reported she can no longer drive and its a struggle to get everyone's clothes washed. Everyone includes my teen kiddo and 3 grandkids under 8. They need an electric washer and dryer. This would help grandma save money by not having to call an uber to go to the laundromat every week. Grandma said it does not have to be brand new as long as it works.
