There is a family that is working with Family Centered Services. The children were out of the home but have returned to the home and the care of the Biological Parent. However, the previous care-taker is refusing to give the mother back the bassinet to the mother. All attempts to get the bassinet back has failed. I'm request a play-pen or baby bassinet for this family.

Please help a mom who is working hard to get back on her feet with a bus pass. She uses the bus to get to job interviews and to attend classes needed for her court case. She is committed and working hard to getting her kids back in her home. We appreciate the support of the community.

Please help with groceries for a mom who is getting her life together. She has graduated rehab and been sober for 2 months. She was accepted into sober living on Monday and obtained employment on Tuesday. She does not have groceries and will not have a paycheck for a week. She is focused on her sobriety so she can be a better mom for her son. She just needs a little help along the way. We appreciate any support the community can offer for her to have groceries until her next paycheck.

We have a seven month old baby in need of a crib, as she is outgrowing the pack-and-play she is currently using. This foster home will also need a mattress. This foster mom has expressed preference for something wooden/brown or neutral toned but stated she is not picky if that is not possible. I have a young man who was just discharged after a 7 month hospital stay. He is wheelchair dependent and NPO (fed through a Micky Button). He is looking for a hook holder for his wheelchair to carry his feeding bag and his pump. He is in Trial Reunification with the parents but funds are tight at this time. We have a young man that has been through a lot in the past two years he has been in care. He has made some poor choices and he's made some wonderful choices along the way. Right now he has decided that once he ages out, he would like to join the military and he feels that the best path for him from here to there is to attend Thunderbird Academy. He impressed everyone at his interview and has been accepted for admission and he will begin attending on July 20. Thunderbird has provided us with an extensive and extremely specific list of clothing items and supplies that he will need to bring with him. The sweetest, happiest two year old in the world is being raised by her grandmother that absolutely adores her. Grandma has changed her whole life around to be able to devote 100% of her time and attention to her granddaughter and it shows in the way this little girl absolutely shines. This little family makes due with what they have as much as possible but sometimes, money falls just a bit short. Grandma could really use some help with diapers this month. Huggies little movers size 6 seem to be the ones that work the best for her and don't irritate her skin. If anyone can help with this need, it would be a huge blessing. Thank you!

The happiest 8th month old you've ever seen is flourishing in his foster placement while mom works hard to get everything in order so that he can return home to her. These amazing foster parents have welcomed mom into their family and do all of their own visits together. Baby boy has had some health issues stemming from birth and he is on a specialized formula that is prohibitively costly. Foster mom has availed herself of every resource imaginable and does utilize WIC but she is still about three cans short for the month. The formula is Neocate Infant Formula and it is about $46 per can at Walmart. If anyone could help with this need to get through the month it would be an enormous blessing!

Kinship foster parents is taking two children. They have already had to redo a room and purchase beds and beddings. They now need carseats for the children and are strapped . It will be a little while before they will receive any financial assistance and will need the carseats before the children are placed in 6 days.

I have a parent looking for help to pay a water bill. They are currently working a part time job and looking for another part time or full-time job to be able to get caught up on financial responsibilities. They are asking for help to pay any part of the $172.33 amount due. I have a copy of the bill and can provide details to assist in helping if anyone is able. A single mother of three who also has three foster children in her care needs a new twin mattress for one of her foster children. The current mattress is no longer useable as the child has had regression in bed-wetting. This foster mother has spent time cleaning the bedding, the mattress, and all the areas of the bedroom to keep the room clean and fresh-smelling. Please help this mother by giving the home a new mattress for their little guy. It would also be helpful if the mattress came with a good mattress cover to secure its usability for years to come.

This family consists of a mother and her teenaged daughter. The family is in need of an air conditioning unit. Both mother and daughter suffer from a degenerative disease, which makes it difficult to work and provide income. The family is dealing with a recent loss of a family member, and they do not have any support from friends or relatives in Oklahoma. The temperature in the home can reach over 90 degrees in the Oklahoma summer heat, which becomes unbearable. A window A/C unit would provide this family with much needed relief.
