Hello, we have a single mother in need of assistance in obtaining a recliner due to previous back surgery. She prefers to sleep in an upright position due to the discomfort. The single mother is working full-time but has a limited income to provide for her 4 children. This single mother has started over after being in an abusive relationship. She has done well starting over and creating a safe environment for her and her children. Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness for this family.

This new foster family for traditional care needs a sturdy crib. Currently they use a Pack and Play, but it is not constructed well enough to keep the one year old from scooting herself around and awakening her sibling in the room. There is also concern the toddler will tip the Pack and Play if this continues. This family has reached out to foster care resources for a crib, but no cribs have been available.

A father recently reunified with his 3 children. Due to employment changes, the father is struggling financially due to the time in between paychecks. Because of this, the father got behind on rent and was locked out of his home and is unable to obtain his or his children's belongings. While the father works to pay off the back rent he owes to the complex, the children are in need of beds and clothing to prevent them returning to foster care. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

I am reaching out to share the story of a remarkable mother who has held onto hope and resiliency in the face of challenge. She has bravely survived multiple forms of abuse from the father of her children and has fought to heal herself and her family. Due to domestic violence and physical abuse from the father, her children were removed from the home by child welfare. Less than a year ago, they were safely reunified with their mother, and she has been working hard to overcome ongoing barriers. Now, she is facing three major needs: employment, transportation, and utility assistance. I am seeking local nonprofits and community resources for her utility bills, but the lack of transportation is preventing her from getting or maintaining a job. Her vehicle is currently in the shop, with repair costs of $1,600. A state agency had promised to match $800 if she could contribute the other half. She worked hard and came up with her $800 but was recently told that the matching funds are no longer available. As a result, her car remains unrepaired, leaving her stuck without a way forward. We are asking for any support your church may be able to offer, whether that’s contributing a portion of the $800 still needed or generously covering the full amount. This mother has expressed a desire for connection and support from a church as she continues her journey toward safety and stability. A foster placement is in need of a rear facing 5-point convertible car seat for the toddler in their home. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration!

A mom is in a rehab facility doing very well. She has earned overnight passes, but cannot have her children in the rehab with her. She is ready to find housing and begin Trial Reunification within the next few months. We would like to provide a place for her to have an overnight visit with her children. A hotel room in Broken Arrow or Tulsa would allow Mom and her children to spend some extended time together to begin the TR process.

A young man came into care around December 2024 after a dissolved kinship/ guardianship, and at that time had no appropriate, and safe family members to care for his overall wellbeing. The youth’s mother came into the picture and is working on her plan. however, mom has had some setbacks and is struggling. A 15 year old male who has some developmental delays and anger issues is living in a group home with other teens. He would love to have headphones and a portable charger. Music is a great coping mechanism that the young man uses music for every day coping skills and to calm anger issues.

Please help a mother who is in need of some household items. The mother is tirelessly looking for employment but hasn't found anything yet. The mother is in need of some items to help her get by until she finds employment. Items needed: Trash can, cleaning supplies, toothbrushes, dish soap, laundry detergent, hygiene products. Please help keep these children safe in their natural home!!! We are requesting for a family who is needing resources to provide safe sleeping arrangements for their children. As safe sleep in a big concern of the involvement with the department. They are currently in need of a pack and play with a basinet for the infant as well as some sleep sacks for this infant as a way to provide safe sleep. They are also in current need of a pack in play for their toddler as well, as his current sleeping arrangement is not appropriate. Their two older children could benefit from new bedding, the child in a toddler bed is female and the child in the twin size bed is male.

A single mother, and survivor of domestic violence is desperately needing some assistance with getting her vehicle repaired. She has fought through a lot to ensure she and her children are safe from their abuser but unfortunately experienced difficulty with her vehicle needing repairs. The total estimated cost to repair the vehicle is $1600. However, the mother is asking for any assistance that can be given in the amount of $800 as she has already raised half the amount. Your assistance will greatly help this mother avoid losing her vehicle. She will accept parts, a mechanic that can fix for free - absolutely any help that she can get to get her vehicle up and running so that she can be empowered and able to stand as a strong, resilient survivor. I’m reaching out on behalf of a family we support—a loving family of four children who have recently been joyfully reunited with their biological parents. They’ve just moved into a new home, eager to begin this next chapter of their lives together. As they work to build a safe and stable environment, they’re in need of a little extra help furnishing their space.

One of the children, a resilient 15-year-old daughter, has been sleeping on a pallet on the floor. She kindly asked if we might reach out to our community in hopes of finding a donated bed—both a mattress and frame.
