We have a family friend fostering a sweet teen boy while raising 4 children of her own. Due to needing more space to accommodate the child, the family is moving into a new home where everyone can be comfortable. Right before the move in, the rain came in and flooded the home. The roof needs to be fixed, and the family cannot move in for another week. Foster mom has half of the rent and is needing assistance with the other half so that she can avoid an eviction and stay in the apartment until the roof is repaired. I know the need is large but if you can help this family, we would be SO grateful. They have given up so much to foster this child and we would love them to be able to stay together and adopt him. I am the School Based Social Services worker for a family of three. The caretaker is partially blind and does not have access to transportation. Two of her children attend Epic Schools and are needing help getting to and from their school site for testing. These would be two visits that would require an Uber or taxi service. The family is aware that these services only cover a direct route from their home to the Epic site and back, no deviations are allowed. The amount provided is an estimate, but may be lower than the request. These tests are critical to their educational advancement and missing the dates would hinder their eventual graduation. Your assistance would mean a lot for the family.

We are working with a kinship foster home who has taken in their 2 month old granddaughter. The family is working hard to get fully approved and complete all items and has been taking great care of the child. The family has found bed bugs since taking the child placed and is needing help with some of the treatments for the baby's room and other rooms that they have not spread to. If you could assist with a partial amount of the treatment or if anyone knows of someone who might be able to take a look at it to make sure that family is getting a correct quote it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello I am needing help with fixing up a mother's car so she is able to see her children for her visits. This would help mom out with starting Trial Reunification so she can get her kiddos back home with her. She has been having difficulties getting to different towns to see her kiddos on a regular basis because her car is not in working condition and she does not have much family to help her when needed. All this car needs in a front left ball joint to get this car up and running! if someone is available to help fix this car up this will help mom get her children back home. The car is 2000 mercury MGL that just needs a left ball joint repaired.

My foster parents just took in an infant and got him a crib, toys, swing and bouncer. They are just needing a small dresser for his clothing now. They are perfectly happy with a gently used item. They are just needing somewhere to put his clothes.

A kinship placement was found for an Oklahoma teen with her great-aunt in Illinois. We are very appreciative that the aunt stepped up to care for her niece. Accepting placement of a child into the home comes with added expenses. The aunt needs assistance obtaining a bed and dresser for the child to keep her in the home. Service providers in the area were unable to provide the items. Obtaining a bed and dresser would help keep this placement stable and keep this kiddo with family. Please take note, the family lives in Illinois and the ability for an in-person connection is not possible. The items would need to be shipped. Thank you for considering helping our Oklahoma child!

Please help preserve this kinship placement. Maternal aunt work hours were cut recently which left the family with needing assistance with their water bill. The family is typically stable but the aunt's hours were unexpectedly cut. They have two foster children in their home who are doing well there. They would be super grateful. They have the utility bill for proof.

Hello, we have a biological mom who is in trial reunification with her two children. She recently lost her job but quickly found a job so it would not disrupt the girls. She is a bio mom who is resilient and does everything she can to provide for her girls. She is short on rent and we don’t want her to lose her place of stay and cause a disruption to the girls placement

We have a family friend fostering a teen girl while raising 5 children on her own as a single mother. Foster mom’s youngest child has an eventual fatal disease and over the weekend was admitted to the hospital. Foster mom has had to take off work multiple times due to her daughter’s needs and loses pay for the days when she cannot work. Foster mom is needing assistance with rent as her check was short this pay period. She will start receiving her stipend next month which will elevate some a lot of financial struggles but is going through a very tough time right now. Please help a little girl enjoy two weeks of summer camp after a very stressful year. Her third foster placement has proven to be a very good place for her to heal and be loved. She has been through a lot of trauma in her short 7 years. Her foster parents have expressed they need help with the cost. It will be a total of $260 ($130 per week). They would really appreciate the assistance. Payment would be made directly to the camp. Family YMCA Member weekly rate $130
Camp runs from May 27 to August 13 and foster family would like to sign her up for two weeks. Camp offers swimming, art, games, field trips, crafts, and more.
