1-month-old child is placed in non-relative kinship placement. Child was just placed in this resource home as of 06/29. Foster parents have adopted two other children out of OKDHS custody. Foster parents and agency would appreciate help with obtaining a changing table for the child. Both parents work full-time and would appreciate the financial assistance so they can allocate funds towards other necessities. Thank you for your assistance, it is much appreciated!

A parent is in need of financial assistance to help cover her outstanding mortgage payments. The parent has begun to struggle financially despite working full-time through no fault of her own. We are requesting $200 to help cover her costs and ensure she will be able to keep managing her finances while she continues her good work towards reunifying with her daughter.

Food Donation for Children at the Care Center The OKDHS Care Center offers a home-like setting for children awaiting placement. The Center is a safe, comfortable environment for children as the child welfare worker completes necessary paperwork and identifies a foster placement. Children often come in hungry. The Care Center allows children to choose what they want to eat, giving them a choice when they do not have many choices. We have a list of possible suggestions but are open to any food donation that is easily prepared. The Care Center has a refrigerator and can accept frozen or cold foods. Thank you for your help!

A parent living on a little income with next to no discretionary funds, could use help with gasoline card (maybe an OnCue or Casey's) to help the parent participate in transporting his child as the case is nearing Trial Reunification and coparenting.

2 minor children recently got placed with their paternal great uncle and his adult daughter. The family's central heat and air has gone out. The paternal great uncle has been able to get small window units for each of the bedrooms. The paternal great uncle has an industrial fan in the main living area, however it is just blowing hot humid air around due to no cool air flow. Due to the hot humid air in the main living area, the children are not able to play or enjoy the home comfortably. The paternal great uncle just took placement and has not received any reimbursements to offset any costs. If someone is willing to donate a portable air conditioner OR AC services to help this family during this hot, humid weather, it would be greatly appreciated.

The mother recently left prison at the beginning of the year and went to a halfway house. The mother would like to make changes to her life to reunify with her child. She is in need of help to receive a psychological evaluation to help to reunify with her child. The cheapest one I have found is 1200 and she doesnt have Soonercare to help pay for it. Any amount to help pay for her evaluation would be helpful.

Mother and Father of a 6-month-old baby needs help with obtaining a baby playpen and baby playmat to place under the baby playpen. The family lives in an apartment with hardwood floors and their son has recently started crawling. His parents are so happy about this milestone but also concerned due to the fact that their floor is very hard. The baby playpen and baby playmat would help with their son's safety and wellbeing. With a family membership, the family would have access to sports, activities, discounted child care, community and allow Father to practice self-care of working out while the children are in the provided child care.

The family membership cost is $78 per month, however with dad being a military veteran, the military discount brings it down to $68 per month.

Help reunify a bio family with a bus pass for transportation!

Please help a single mother in need of transportation assistance to reunify with her two children. This mother has been actively working services according to her service plan and needs assistance in getting to her family time visits with her baby. She does not have a driver's license or any other method of transportation. A bus pass would help her in getting to her services, attending court hearings, and attending family visits on-time.

Single mother has 4 guardianship children and 1 foster child. She is currently recovering from a recent surgery and cannot work. The air conditioning in her 2009 GMC Denali has gone out and she does not have the funds to get it fixed. The initial amount we found may be close to $1500 or more. We are asking for $200 to get the process started by diagnosing the issue.

We have a very loving Single older mom, that has taken in 2 sibilings. Resource parent has been off work due to drib=ving out of state to pickup children placed. Resource parent stated it was a very expensive trip and she is off work and not getting paid. Resource parent is needing help with groceries.
