Single mother with two young boys is in need of assistance with their electric bill. Electricity has been disconnected and the home has no relief from the heat. The family's food has spoiled due to the electricity being off. Mother is currently expecting a baby as well and has recently lost her job. The family needs assistance paying the bill to get them back on their feet. Mother is working a non-court case with DHHS.

This single-mother of two young boys is needing help with the last bit of her rent payment ($199). This mother has been working over-night shifts trying to make enough income to support her family and benefit her children. After having some medical incidents recently, this mother was short on savings this month to pay the full rent amount and no community resources have been able to help thus far. This mother and her boys would really appreciate any assistance that could come there way - any amount helps.

This family is comprised of a single mother with 4 children. They recently had to move out of their household and are now homeless. The family has been staying at the mission but two of the children are diagnosed with autism and being at the mission has been difficult for them. Their mother has applied to many different apartments and houses but continues to get denied due to not having enough money to cover the first month's rent and the deposit.

Mom is requesting financial assistance to help pay for the deposit on a new apartment or house for the family to live in.

With financial assistance, the family will be able to find safe and stable housing, preventing the possible removal of the children from their mother's care due to lack of safe and stable housing for the children.

This family is a single parent household and the children are ages 5 and 1. Mom recently just moved to Nebraska and now has a new apartment. Mom did not have any furniture or household items when moving here.

This family is in need of any kitchen or cookware supplies such as a toaster or a microwave, a high chair and a crib for the one year old and a twin bed for the 5 year old.

With these items, mom will be able to cook healthy meals for her children in the home and the children will have a safe space to sleep.

A newborn baby was removed from their home and the foster parents are in need of a case seat for the baby girl.

A mother on my caseload has recently obtained housing for herself and her five children, and is working hard to furnish her home prior to reunification. This family loves to spend time together, but currently has to sit on the floor in their living room when they want to watch movies or play games with each other during visits. Overnight visits with the kids will be starting shortly, and I know that they would all appreciate having a comfortable space in the living room to enjoy each other's company prior to reunification.

A kiddo was moved to a new foster home and is in need of a booster seat. The kiddo loves purple and pink!

The family needs help getting laundry soap and laundromat cards. It came in for a dirty home and the family had to clean the home to ensure it was safe for the children. Parents are trying to ensure the family stays clean and everyone at home has clean clothes. This will help the whole family and continue ensuring the home stays clean and make the environment at home safe for the children. Both parents are working with services to help ensure that their home is safe for their children to live in. Getting them laundry soap and laundromat card would be help and help the family continuing ensuring the home stay safe for everyone.

A mom recently requested that her son receive a bed frame for his full size bed because it has been sitting on the floor where the carpets are not clean. She also asked for a new full sized mattress for her son, if able. The mother also asked for her carpets to be cleaned as well.

Mother now only needs frame for a queen size bed!

Imagine finally finding the courage to leave an abusive relationship—only to have your home broken into, your every move tracked through hacked cameras, and your phone used against you by the person you fled.

This is the terrifying reality for a brave local mother and her children, who are doing everything they can to stay safe and rebuild their lives. They’ve already endured so much, and now they’re faced with the constant fear that he could find them again.

We are currently looking for assistance so we can replace her front door locks, install window locks, a sliding glass door lock, and indoor and outdoor cameras.

Please give what you can—and share. Help us protect a family that deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to breathe without fear.

Three young children (age 7, 8, and 9) were removed from their mother due to abandonment and drug use by their mother. The children have not had a stable home throughout their lives and very rarely were given new clothes. They are currently residing in a kinship foster placement and foster mom isn't able to get them shoes and clothes at the moment as she has not yet received her stipend. The Department has helped with groceries and a small donation of clothes from CFS workers. The children have utilized the Foster Care Closet as well. The little boy does not have any shoes that fit that do not have holes. The girls' clothes are either too big or too small. I am asking for $50 for each child to purchase new shoes and clothes for them.
