I have a mom who just started her trial home visit and daycare won’t start till later in the month. Because daycare won’t start Monday, this mom is having to miss work and her job has really been understanding but she can’t miss 11 days of work. She is needing help with self pay until state pay kicks in.

This family is needing assistance with rent/deposit for a new home due to the family needing more space for a child they are taking as kinship placement after a life altering accident. The child needs more space for the medical equipment along with the ability for them to work with nursing, physical, and occupational therapist in the home. Assisting with the rent/deposit will allow the family to move and settle in to their new home, and allow the child to discharge from the hospital after being admitted for over 6 months. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hello, I am looking to help keep a relative home in-tact by finding some assistance for them with an upcoming water bill that is due on July 15th. This relative has been working extremely hard to care for her three nieces/nephews while also taking care of an adult friend in her home, whom she is also responsible for, who is sick. She called me, frantic and panicking, because all three children had needed a few extra items this month and she is no longer getting assistance from bio parents. She had to use all her expandable money she had leftover to cover this and now she is short for the water bill. Not only that, but her landlord had recently notified her that rent will be increasing after the summer, and this is an added stressor she is trying to navigate as well. At this time, I would really appreciate any help we can get to cover the cost of her water bill that is coming up and ensure her and these beautiful children continue having running water and don't incur further charges or fees that she cannot afford to pay at this time. Any help as soon as possible, would be greatly appreciated.

Four children have been placed in a kinship home and as part of their preparedness kit, required by licensing, they all need to have sleeping bags in the event of an emergency. The children are bonded to this placement and even though she is not blood related, then think of her as their grandmother. Getting 5 sleeping bags would be greatly appreciated, as this is an expense the parent can't afford at this time.

The purpose of this request is to assist a youth as they prepare for the next chapter. The youth is preparing for college and has created a wish list through Amazon. Upon the request meeting approval, case manager will forward Amazon wish list link of what youth is requesting to assure they have what they need for their first year as a college student. Single mother and her three children need assistance paying rent on their new apartment so they can finally have longterm housing.

Mother is currently staying at a long-term stay hotel where she has been harrassed and attacked at by other guests. She has been staying there after being kicked out of a shelter that was supposed to help her until she found more permanent housing and was allegedly robbed and manipulated by a service provider who took her money (which following a significant period of time was returned) and many of her items (which still have not been returned). However, Mother's section 8 voucher has been granted and she will be able to move into an apartment which she has secured but needs to put a down payment on. By helping her with this, she and her children will have long-term stable housing.

Urgent help is needed for a family who just had their water shut off. Parent is a single mother who receives limited help from the fathers of her children and is in the middle of getting back to work. Amount requested will get the water turned back on. Family has limited support and with five children and the hot summer months, the need for water is especially urgent

A devoted mother has expressed her need for a one-seater stroller suitable for her infant. As a single parent, she is navigating the challenges of providing for her new child independently. When we inquired about how we could assist her, she shared that having a stroller would make a significant difference in her daily life.

A young girl and her family have recently relocated to Florida. During their time there, she connected with an adult male on Snapchat, who persuaded her to travel to Cincinnati, even covering the cost of her Greyhound ticket. When the child left home, her mother promptly filed a missing person report, and efforts to locate her have been ongoing. Fortunately, the child has been found in Cincinnati and is currently receiving care in a hospital while arrangements are made for her safe return home. The mother is diligently working full-time to provide for her daughters and maintain their home. An adult sister is ready and willing to fly to Cincinnati to bring her sister back, but the family is currently facing financial challenges that prevent them from affording the travel expenses.

A young person is in urgent need of a $200 Uber gift card to get to and from work, which is 20 minutes away. Right now, their entire paycheck is going toward paying for Ubers, leaving nothing left to save for a car. They're working hard, trying to stay consistent and build a better future, but the cost of transportation is making it incredibly difficult. This support would help lighten the load and give them a real chance to gain stability and keep moving forward.

This family needs help paying their $5000 rent bill. They will be evicted on July 10th if they do not contribute to the total. The mother I have been working with is just returning to her job after maternity leave. There are 4 kiddos who live in this apartment who would not have somewhere to live if they are evicted. Mother and her boyfriend are now working and will be able to handle the monthly rent once it is down to a manageable amount. Mother has reached out to other community organizations who do not have funding to help her family at this time. Thank you so much for considering this families needs.

Cornerstones of Care is working with a single mom who is trying to move into a new apartment with her 1-year-old son. The apartment is in need of being deep cleaned. The apartment is supposed to be nonsmoking but it smells really bad. Mom has a few different medical diagnosis and is unable to deep clean the apartment herself. She is needing to move into the apartment within the next week. We have contacted Servpro to do the deep cleaning but she is unable to afford the cost of it. Once she is able to move into the apartment her son will be able to live with her full time and be able to officially reunify.
