She has a bed and vanity but is looking for a tall dresser, a vanity stool, pink and/or white curtains, and some LED lights. She loves the colors pink and white and would love these items in those colors. Thank you for helping her create her safe space!

A young man just entered care as a 17 year old. He is looking for a job but does not have a car. After entering care he was able to get his drivers license but needs to get a job to save for a car. This scooter would help him get to interviews and to his job without relying on his kinship home.

In an effort to make her home more comfortable for a child, placement for a 16-year-old girl bought two air purifiers to help with the child's pet allergies. Placement would like to be reimbursed for the purchase.

Hello I am reaching out to request a 5 point car seat for a family that is in need of this item urgently. This placement is absolutely perfect for the children and provide a stable and loving home. The only thing that is really missing is proper car seat so that the child can be safely transported while they stay there. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.

Mother just gave birth to her 2nd baby been out of work, She has been sent termination notice on gas bill that is all that is left unpaid, and she is needing all the assistance she can get for her gas bill.

There is a 4 year-old-boy with developmental delays in need of hard-sole shoes to practice walking with. Parents have a limited income and are unable to purchase the shoes themselves at this time. This would greatly improve the child's quality of life and assist with reaching his mobility goals. Mother is asking for children's size 6 shoes. Hello SHOJ Foster Care Ministry Members,

We are looking at doing something small to support the family we have been bringing meals to this fall. They are fostering 4 kiddos. In talking to foster Mom, she said they are pretty set on clothing, but are in need of some winter boots for three of the kids.

These boots do not have to be new, just in good condition, so if you have some laying around we would love them! : )

Also, when we asked about doing something for Christmas, they said they were hoping to do a larger family gift, so I offered to take up a collection for that. A family connected to a SHOJ Parish family is in desperate need of assistance for rent. They have received a three day eviction notice. The family has four young children, ages 10, 8, 5, and 23 months. Any amount of money we can provide to help preserve this family's safe living conditions would be greatly appreciated! Please respond with the amount you may be able to contribute, and we will help arrange getting the aid to them.

A local foster family that Sacred Heart is starting to support with a "Care Community" (small group surrounding a foster family with meals and other needs) is in need of swim lessons for some of their foster kids. We are looking to cover the cost of these lessons. Thank you so much for considering helping with this need!
