Help Strengthen a Bio Family

The father has been working to find stable housing for him and his son but it’s been difficult. The family is originally from Texas so they have no family support in the Los Angeles area. The father can only work a job where he can take his son with him, such as lyft and Instacart to deliver food, as the shelter does not allow him to leave his son home alone at the shelter. The father and child are both in therapy services individually and need to work on family therapy as there is child/parent conflicts as the child struggles with moving from shelter to shelter and not having a mother figure in his life. The mother abandoned the child when he was a baby and the father has been caring from him alone since then. The father and child both acknowledge that they need to work on how to address the issues in their relationship. The family is in need of financial support they need clothing for the father and his son. The father is asking if someone can assist him in obtaining clothing for him and for his 12 year old son. His son is outgrowing his clothes and shoes. They continue to reside in the shelter.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing

2 of 2 This is a devoted single mother caring for three young children. After experiencing several months of housing instability, including couch surfing, she has finally found an apartment in Riverside. Without access to a car, she relies entirely on public transportation to get to both work and school. Her daily routine is incredibly demanding, one of her children has special needs, and with her kids attending two different schools, mornings are especially challenging. Community members have even witnessed her running between drop-offs and bus stops, trying her best to make it to work on time. Despite her resilience and dedication, the family is in need of essential household items, even if they're used. They do not have a refrigerator or beds, and a TV would be a meaningful comfort for the children during this transitional time.

Help Preserve a Kinship Placement

KINSHIP. The kin caregiver has been the primary caregiver for her 15-year-old nephew since 2023, when he was no longer able to remain with his parents. She has provided him with a safe, stable, and loving home during this time. The caregiver is a nurse and was employed full-time until the Palisades fire destroyed her workplace. Since then, she has been working on an on-call basis at various nearby facilities. Unfortunately, her hours have been significantly reduced, leading to a loss of income and financial strain. As a result, she has fallen behind on her rent payments. She is respectfully requesting rental assistance in the amount of $1500.00 to help her remain in her home. This support would provide much needed financial relief and help reduce the stress she is experiencing. Most importantly, it would allow her to continue offering a secure and nurturing environment for her nephew. With the support of her mother, who has a steady income, and her continued efforts to find stable employment, she is confident she will be able to recover financially. This assistance would be a crucial step in helping her get back on track. Thank you for your time and consideration of this request.

Help Preserve a Kinship Placement

KINSHIP. The kin caregiver is the Paternal Aunt of the two children she is currently caring for. The children were placed under emergency care placement on 3/3/25. The caregiver is requesting rental assistance in the amount of $1,000.00. She is having financial hardship because her husband was laid off work for a few weeks and just received a new job. This unemployment caused them to struggle with paying their rent and needs the rental assistance to get back on their feet. The caregiver identifies herself as nurturing and resilient in stressful times. She is doing everything possible to keep paying her rent to reside in a safe community for her nephews. This support will enable her and her nephews to remain in their current residence. Currently, the caregiver is receiving foster care payments, and her husband is employed. Once this need is met the family will be able to sustain from her husband’s income as he is getting more hours as well as the foster care payments for her nephews.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family

We were recently gifted a brand-new UPPAbaby Vista V3 stroller (Jake color), and we're hoping to complete it with a compatible car seat like the Aria or Mesa for a young mom who just went into early labor. She’s a hardworking high school student, doing her best to stay on track while preparing to become a mom. Now, she’s facing the overwhelming challenge of being hospitalized three months early, trying to stop labor an incredibly heavy burden for anyone, let alone a teen. We’d love to ease just one part of this journey by giving her a complete travel system rather than having to track down pieces one by one.
Your support would mean so much to this young family during a very critical time. Thank you for considering this request. if any questions can you please email me or call me Here is the link : Go To Link
