Sibling set of four moved in with grandparents to help preserve cultural connections. Grandparents recently moved to a larger space to accommodate the youths.

Family needs help picking up equipment from a storage unit and bringing it to their home. This will ensure siblings can maintain in a safe and appropriate placement.

Four children have reintegrated back home with their mother and father. Due to family having bug issues they had to get rid of their previous two twin mattresses. The beds would be for the twin 9 year old girls.

The family is from another country, and the mother and father speak two different dialects of language, so drop off of the beds would need to be coordinated through an interpreter or through me, I would be happy to help, since it is more complicated than normal.

A sibling set of 11, 13, and 15-years-old have recently come into care and are in need of beds!

The 13 and 15-year-old boys will be sharing a room and are looking for two twin size beds and mattresses. The 11-year-old girl has a room of her own and is looking for a twin- or full-size bed and mattress. As of right now the children are sleeping on inflatable mattresses.

We are looking for:

• 2 twin sized beds and mattresses
• 1 full sized bed and mattress

This request is for a father who is working really hard to get his daughter in his care. This father is doing all the steps and is now able to progress to unsupervised visits and soon he will have overnight visits. The father is asking for a car seat to help him transport the child safely now that he is able to have extended time with her.

There is a 4 year-old-boy with developmental delays in need of hard-sole shoes to practice walking with. Parents have a limited income and are unable to purchase the shoes themselves at this time. This would greatly improve the child's quality of life and assist with reaching his mobility goals. Mother is asking for children's size 6 shoes. 9 years old girl placed with a Non Relative Kinship (NRKIN) Placement and has been with the family since April. The family has been such a big support to her and her older brother, also in foster care with the family, and that support has included meeting their needs along with the family's three biological children.

To ensure she remains active during the summer and continues to have a normal as possible childhood, the family paid $95 for a summer pool pass for Youngs Pool in Overland Park, Kansas. She enjoys swimming and the family would appreciate any monetary support for her access to the pool.

The family is only receiving $17.64 for her and her brother daily until they are fully licensed with DCF, which may not be for a another month. Unexpectedly becoming a foster parent, along with three biological children, is incredibly difficult and demanding so any assistance to provide support to this family is greatly appreciated.

5 children are in need of summer clothing and shoes. Mom Just got a new job and was homeless. She has been saving all her money to try and find a place to live.

Natural mother is working to improve her home for the safety of her four children. After years of drug use, the natural mother is clean and in rehab and is working to reintegrate with her children. Given the extensive amount of drug use that occurred in the home, the mother is redoing the house to make sure her children are safe. The mother has finished redoing her floors and has gotten rid of all of the furniture. This mom is requesting assistance with getting new living room furniture, specifically couches or a living room chair. Once the mother has finished cleaning the home and replacing the furniture, she will be able to have visitation in her home in hopes to return her children to her care.

Asking for assistance with utility bills that are past due. Mother has baby admitted in the NICU for over 2 months awaiting heart surgery. Mother also is her 17 year old brother's legal guardian. Mother's brother was in a car accident and has a traumatic brain injury. He now lives with mother full-time. Mother normally works but has not been able to since baby was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit 2 months ago. Mother has just started back to work but is unable to pay the past due utility bills. Mother is requesting assistance with Spire gas bill and KC Water water bill. Both are in danger of being shut off. Spire bill is $215.99 and KC Water bill is 272.99. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Kids don’t have winter clothes that fit and are missing school because they don’t have clean clothes to wear. Due to the weather getting colder, it is becoming more urgent that the kids have access to warm clothing that fits. Winter clothes for a female child age 9, a female child age 14, and a male child age 14. The youngest female is a size 7 or 8 in pants and shirt. Oldest male is a size 32-34 in pants and a large in shirt. Oldest female is a size large in shirt and pants. The kids are each needing winter coats, hats, gloves, and any long pants or shirts.
