The family has bed frames for two children but needs two mattresses and bedding for them; they also would appreciate a bed and bedding for the parents so everyone can sleep comfortably!

A family of five, soon to be six, moving into their first apartment in Troy on May 21st need help getting things together for their new home! The family is looking for cooking utensils like spatulas, spoons, knives, cutting boards, pots and pans. The family is also looking for assistance getting forks, knives, spoons, plates, cups, and bowls to go along with their new kitchen.

This Mom currently has 2 children, a son aged 4 and a daughter aged 5, in the care of GCDSS. She has another child who is with her at home. There is no contact with the bio father. Mom is re-married but currently has no contact with her husband. Mom’s license is currently suspended. The GCDSS is looking to expand visitation with the mother and her 2 children and work towards a trial discharge home. The items requested would be used for this mom to transport all her children safely while she continues to address the issue with her license, as well as provide a safe sleeping area for the newborn upon arrival.

Mom is looking for summer clothing for the child residing in the home, sizes 18-24 months. This will help mom financially as she is on a limited budget and is currently the only parent providing for the child.

Items Needed:: Toddler girl clothing sizes 18-24 months. Specifically looking for summer clothes such as shorts, t-shirts, dresses, short sleeve onesies and bathing suit(s). A gift card to Walmart will work too if necessary.
