Single mom with two teenagers who is currently residing in a hotel. She currently is working two jobs trying to maintain a hotel and secure permanent housing in an apartment. Recently, on the way to work, her car broke down and is sitting in the shop. She is requesting funding for car repairs to make sure she has stable transportation to get to and from work.

I am working with a family who has two young boys, ages 8 and 13. Both the family and the children have expressed a strong need for extracurricular activities to help keep the boys engaged and occupied over the summer. The children have shown interest in receiving items such as bikes, soccer balls, basketballs, and footballs. Any suggestions or support for summer activities that would benefit the boys are greatly appreciated.

I am writing on behalf of a family of three—a mother and her two young sons—who are recent survivors of domestic violence. The family is of Indian descent, and the mother has limited English proficiency. She is currently employed and making every effort to support her children and regain stability after the traumatic events they recently experienced. Due to the circumstances surrounding the domestic violence incident, the mother has fallen behind on her rent for the month of June. Her total rent is $1,400, and she is currently short $750. She is actively seeking additional employment to supplement her income and stabilize her family's situation, but immediate assistance is needed to help her avoid the risk of eviction and further instability. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and will go directly toward ensuring this family can remain safely housed as they work toward healing and rebuilding their lives.

During a recent event, a volunteer, provided transportation so the mother could attend a graduation. Luckily the volunteer had a car seat from her family. Member shared that she is in need of one for her daughter. We are seeking a forward-facing car seat with a 5-point harness that can convert into a booster seat. This will support the child's growth and ensure her safety over time.

Providing this essential item will ease a burden on the mother and volunteers to ensure her daughter can travel safely and legally.

This family is in need of help paying for a summer camp. This youth has a history of suicidal behavior. This camp will help strength support for the youth. This camp will help keep this youth busy for the summer. Youth have been in care since 2024. Youth has experienced lots of trauma.

This caregiver has had placement of a youth for the last four years. Caregiver has loss her job due to medical reasons. Caregiver didn't qualify for short or long term disability. She has fallen behind on bills and food. Due to her being fired and documented as voluntarily quitting she has been denied for unemployment. She is currently waiting to hear from DHS for food benefits. We are looking for help for bills and food at this time. She did mention she will be able to get her job back for having great work ethic with the company.

This father is in need of a cellphone minute card to help stay in touch with the agency for court hearing, doctors appointments for the children as well as meetings. This father doesn't have the funds to pay his phone bill this month. This father stated that he wasn't able to to meet with his therapist to schedule ongoing appointments to due his phone not being active. A prepaid card and or phone would help stability for this parent.
