Grandmother, who has taken over the care of her two teen grandchildren, has fallen on hard times and have lost their home. The family is currently staying at an extended stay hotel and was only able to pay for one week. Grandmother has not been able to locate an alternative housing arrangement at this time and is in need of another week in the extended stay hotel. Grandmother has been actively working on finding another living arrangement and just needs a little support at this time. Thank you for your consideration.

These two boys are being reintegrated back into their home with their mom. She has been working really hard trying to get all of the things that are needed but is struggling with these two items.

This youth is 15 and wants to earn more independence, as well as have an item that can help her with coping with life stressors and her previous trauma. She wants to be able to download games and also be able to listen to her music. This is the first step to her earning a phone with the home she is at. She has been successfully out of a residential facility for going on 5 months, which is a major accomplishment from her past. We found the "onn 7" Tablet, 32GB, (2024 Model)" that has enough of the features she is wanting, but can also have parental controls. It is $59.00 at Walmart. Any similar tablets with the same features will also work. A safety case for it would be nice as well, but not as important at this time. 

The affected family is a five-member family that shares ICWA tribes and includes three young children, a mother, and a father. They were placed in foster care because of the condition of the house, which included new flooring due to pipe issues being clogged up and damaging the floors.. Any aid from people, organizations, or churches in offering free flooring services or helping to cover the cost would be greatly appreciated, as parents are unable to pay for the estimate quotes.

I humbly request your support in assisting a full-size bed, mattress and bedding for a child in our community who is in need of an upgraded bed now that she is getting bigger and is growing out of her current space. 6 year old girl in need of items for an upcoming trip to Texas for her brother's surgery. Her brother has a genetic medical condition and is going to have surgery in Austin, TX in June on his jaw/face for reconstruction and possible tracheotomy removal. The family will be driving to Austin and renting a place to stay for several weeks. The family is hoping to gather items to help their child manage the long drive as well as the many hours she will spend at the hospital with her brother. Items that might be helpful would be coloring books, drawing supplies, crayons, markers, colored pencils, small lego sets, medical play kit (she wants to be a doctor) and she loves mermaids and unicorns. This family would be very appreciative of any help that could be provided.

Single mother of 2 is working very hard to find stable housing and work while also uninsured. One of the two children has been bullied at school for the clothes that she wears. The bullying has been relentless, to the point of daughter wanting to self-harm. The daughter is in safe hands. Clothes for the daughter are hard to find, as in age appropriate and in her style in sizes 2X. A gift card to any clothing places that has her size would help take a burden off of mom's shoulder and empower her daughter to feel more confident in choosing her clothes. A family is in need of help to ensure the child can remain in kinship care; a 5-pound fire extinguisher is needed for safety compliance in the home.

This family is needing assistance with half of their rent. Their 21 year-old son was recently killed in an accident and their 19-year-old daughter who is pregnant is being induced due to the stress of losing her brother. Her younger son is currently permanently disabled. Mother has been unable to work as she has been making arrangements for her son's burial and her the birth of her daughter's child. Mother was unable to cover the entire month's rent because she paid for the burial of her son. There are three other younger children in the home. A single mother and two female toddlers ages 2 and 4 are looking to move into a new home in a safer neighborhood than where they are currently residing. The mother has worked very hard in maintaining employment and even purchased a vehicle to help her transport her children to daycare and maintain her girls' relationship to their biological father. The mother has asked for assistance in a first-month's deposit to move out in June as her lease is ending the end of May. She is needing the community's help in this matter to ensure safer and better lives for her two little girls. Any amount would significantly help this family, as they are also very close to being released of jurisdiction and reunifying.

I am reaching out to request support on behalf of a single mother in our community who is in need of a queen-sized mattress. This hardworking mom is raising two young children and doing her best to provide a safe and stable environment for her family. Currently, she is without a proper bed and has been sleeping on the floor or couch to ensure her children are as comfortable as possible. A queen mattress would give her the opportunity to get the rest she truly deserves and continue caring for her children with the strength and energy they depend on. A donated mattress would be more than just a piece of furniture—it would represent dignity, comfort, and care for a mother doing everything she can for her family under difficult circumstances. This is a single parent home. Mom is currently unemployed and family is making ends meet off of social security disability benefits. Family is functioning within poverty. One of the children in the home has a high level of medical needs with some medical equipment that requires electricity to function (suctioning and feeding pump).
