OKDHS is working with a young mother of two young children. The youngest has some complex medical needs and needs to be on a transplant list. This mother lost her home health services after her child started improving and that has caused him to have recurring infections and hospitalizations. This mother works, but has to work around her kids schedule and her youngest child's weekly doctor visits. This mother has been diligent to get her child to the necessary appointments to prevent the serious infections the child has been suffering. This mother has transportation that is allowing her to be medically compliant with her child's treatment but she is having issues with her car. She desperately needs new brakes. We are asking for help with getting this mother a brake job that will keep her car operational so she can get her child medical treatment. Hello! We are asking you to please help a foster home and kiddo by providing them with PediaSure. The child recently came into custody with special needs. He is seven years old with a food aversion, causing him to only eat PediaSure. The placement provider is unable to supply his meals/PediaSure. The Demand Project (TDP) exists to eradicate human trafficking, online enticement, child sexual abuse material, and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. One of the ways we do this is through our residential campus for teen girls who have been victim to these crimes. We are currently prepping to send one of the residents to church camp. She is in need of some pajamas before she heads out. We appreciate your consideration in helping us fill this need for her. A 1.5 year-old recently returned to a former foster home placement that has reopened their home to take her in.
