Child is aging out of care on the HCBS waiver. Child often chooses to spend her time sitting and watching TV or reading. Child needs enjoyable ways to continue movement, so child would benefit from an indoor exercise bike or adult sized tricycle to maintain a healthy lifestyle

These two boys are being reintegrated back into their home with their mom. She has been working really hard trying to get all of the things that are needed but is struggling with these two items.

This15 y.o. child participates on the football team at his high school, he also runs track to stay in shape for football as that is his main focus. Football and his team has been this child's strongest connection as he has moved from home to home since entering care over a year ago. This child also had a major surgery to fix his urinary tubes earlier this year, leading to an absence of football and exercise, that this kid thrives on. Recognizing this, his placement mother signed him up for a summer strong program for his high school. Her son and several of their teammates are also participating, allowing to get ready for football season and connect with peers. Please help provide this opportunity.

The parent for a prior request communicated the incorrect amount for her deposit on apartment. She thought it was $210 but it is actually $300. She is needing to have additional $90 in order to get moved into her new place. TY to the group who offered to pick this up once I resubmitted it TY She is starting over with her kiddos in a new safe place and her first time being on her own. She is grateful for any help that she can get.

The affected family is a five-member family that shares ICWA tribes and includes three young children, a mother, and a father. They were placed in foster care because of the condition of the house, which included new flooring due to pipe issues being clogged up and damaging the floors.. Any aid from people, organizations, or churches in offering free flooring services or helping to cover the cost would be greatly appreciated, as parents are unable to pay for the estimate quotes.

There’s single mother with a 16 your old son in jeopardy of being evicted. She is recently divorced and has had to file for bankruptcy. Over the past few months maintaining the household had become more difficult. She received an eviction notice and is facing that notice being enforced next week, if she cannot pay $2257.

Single mother of 2 is working very hard to find stable housing and work while also uninsured. One of the two children has been bullied at school for the clothes that she wears. The bullying has been relentless, to the point of daughter wanting to self-harm. The daughter is in safe hands. Clothes for the daughter are hard to find, as in age appropriate and in her style in sizes 2X. A gift card to any clothing places that has her size would help take a burden off of mom's shoulder and empower her daughter to feel more confident in choosing her clothes. This courageous family has bravely escaped a situation of domestic violence and has found refuge away from the father. However, they are starting anew with virtually nothing in their new home. The children are in dire need of clothing, hygiene products, and blankets; they currently have very few of these essentials. The youngest child has a pack n play, but the family is sleeping on the floor. They are without formula and diapers, but I am reaching out to secure these necessities for them. Unfortunately, they have no food, with only some rice and bottled water available, along with a pastry box gifted from grandma, who recently traveled from Jordan to support her daughter.

Transportation is a challenge for them, and they primarily speak Arabic. Their needs are urgent, and I am committed to opening an FCS case to assist this family with food stamps, WIC, domestic violence services, and more. Together, we can help them find the support they deserve during this difficult time.

Bio Mom is needing to attend a driving school (Learn 2 Drive KC) that will help her get her driver license so that she can transport her children to school, medical appointments, and ABA therapy. The school consist of 3 driving lessons, and each class is 2 hours. The cost is $680 including pickup and drop off in the Kansas City area.
