Uncle and Grandmother who have been caring for their niece/granddaughter need assistance with their rent. Grandmother is not currently working and uncle has lost his job as a result of keeping appointments for his niece while she is in his care. As a result, he has gotten behind on his rent and is facing eviction.

Uncle has already reached out to community partners for assistance and is currently starting work. Only the first hearing has occurred so far so there is still time to settle the balance. Paying this amount will reduce the amount owed and allow the landlord to see uncle's attempts at resolving the matter, thus allowing him more time.

This family is currently fighting to stay together. Mom is working hard trying to maintain the home and is working on herself to become the best mom she can be. Mom was fighting an infestation in the home and was forced to throw away furniture. They are in need of a couch for the living room and a dresser for the child. So he can have somewhere to store his clothing and make his room feel a little more comfortable.

Children's Division is seeking assistance from Care Portal to supply a set of biological parents with a baby stroller and/or baby swing to prepare for their new residency when they are able to reunify with their baby and are able to obtain their own housing.

Both parents have remained sober for over 2 months, and have worked consistently to attend court hearings, meetings, to get their warrants resolved, to book themselves into treatment inpatient, to attend therapy, and to sacrifice so much of themselves to make things better for their child.

At court, the parents progressed to 4-8 hours of unsupervised sandwich time, meaning they are very close to getting overnight visitation with their baby, and are exceeding everyone's expectations for the case. The only things left for this family to reunify would involve furnishing the child's room for when they are able to obtain their own housing. So far, they have received so much help from other community programs and are so grateful to have that much support. The only things left for the baby would include a baby swing and/or a stroller for the baby to go on walks. CD introduced the parents to a place called Just Between Friends, as second-hand items have been donated that are still useable. This family would appreciate any help that is offered. The placement provider of a 16 year foster child is in a desperate need to pay her utility bills. The bill has increased to approximately $1600 and the family is in danger of having the service disconnected on 5/20 if the bill is not paid. The household has 4 children and 2 adults and the foster mom is working hard to support the family but has not been able to keep up with demands of the family.

A low income family of 5 are transitioning into a new home as they recently welcomed a new baby. They have 3 small children and are in need of a boy toddler bed to help transition the baby into the home.
