Two parents have an open investigation and previous CPS cases where their other children have been removed. The parents have a newborn son and there are no current dangers to the baby to necessitate a removal at this time. The parents are requesting a stroller for the infant to help them transport him to medical appointments, WIC office, and other activities. They are requesting a stroller that would work for a newborn since he is not able to sit up or support his head at this time.

The family lives in a two bedroom home with three children (ages 1yo, 6yo, and 11yo) and two parents who are primarily Spanish speaking. Due to the increasing summer heat, there is concern that the window A/C unit the family is currently using is not working correctly and will place the children at risk of overheating. The family is in need of a 12,000 BTU window unit to cool their living room/dining/kitchen area. Currently Walmart has a Zimtown brand one on sale for $319 The family is cooperating with the Department.

This sweet mama and her 11-month-old daughter are walking through such a tough season right now. They’re currently living in a shelter and relying on public transportation just to make it through each day—getting to work, running errands, doing what she can to care for her baby. She was so relieved when someone helped her get her car to the shop and diagnosed, but it’s been sitting there for a month because she just doesn’t have the $180 needed to fix it. With the summer heat rising and her ongoing health issues, having a reliable car would make a huge difference for both her and her daughter’s well-being. She’s also longing to find a home church—a place to feel seen and supported—and would truly benefit from the love and encouragement of a local church family to come alongside her during this time of transition.

I am working with a family of 3 children, siblings: 8 (female), 15(male), 7 (female) and their mother. The family was recently displaced. The children and parent are currently all sharing a couch to sleep on at a relatives home. The family is seeking bunk beds so the younger children may have their own area to sleep instead of on the couch.

This sweet Spanish-speaking family has been part of our parenting program for a while now, and we’ve seen just how deeply they love and care for each other. Dad works hard to support the home while mom lovingly tends to their three children—a 13-year-old son, a spunky 4-year-old daughter, and their youngest, who’s about to turn 3. With just one income, they stretch every dollar, doing their best to meet their needs. Now, it’s time for their little one to make that big step into a toddler bed. They’re hoping to find a toddler bed, mattress, and cozy bedding set to give her a safe and secure place to sleep as she grows. Mom could also use the encouragement and friendship of a local church community to walk beside her family during this new season. Would you consider being part of that support?

This single Mother is doing her best to care for her two small children, a 6 month old girl and 20 month old boy. Her daughter has some developmental issues and will be starting physical therapy soon. Her son is already in physical therapy. She cannot risk having her phone disconnected as she needs to be in contact with her children's doctors and therapists. She is also looking for work, but has been unable to find suitable child care. Her primary need is for an outstanding phone bill of around $62. In addition, she needs a queen size bed frame for the mattress she already has and a 4-top dining room table to feed the children at. She would also benefit from the relational support of a loving church community.
