The father in this case has been struggling for some time to meet the needs of his 3 children. 2 of them are specifically very high needs, one is diagnosed with autism and the other is in the process of being diagnosed. He has been working hard to catch up on his rent and has been putting nearly every paycheck towards keeping his modest home that the children are excited about living in with him. It has not been enough. He is behind 1500, 400 from last month and 1100 from this month. After having this issue since December the property manager has declined to work with him any longer and will proceed with eviction, leaving the father homeless and the children without a home to reintegrate into. The father has advised this worker that he was originally given 30 days, but now the property management has given him a notice that it must be paid by 5:00 tomorrow or he will be taken to court. Thank you for reading this and any assistance will help. If the full need is not able to be met by the deadline, the case team will return any contribution provided.

A low-income family is in need of a temporary dumpster as they are cleaning and making small renovations to their home. A dumpster would only be needed for a few days. Such efforts will assist the family to improve the condition of their home to be appropriate for returning the children home. Parents are very respectful and motivated to have their children reintegrate, they will likely be flexible to coordinate this assistance.

We would like to request financial assistance of $500 toward rent for the small family of a 13-year-old young man receiving Bert Nash services. This young man lives with his grandmother. This client was brought to live with his grandmother last Fall escaping an abusive situation while living with his mother in Texas. GM is on disability and is struggling to make ends meet with supporting client only on her disability income. We are in the process of applying for Social Security for this client as he struggles with mental health issues from the trauma he has endured in his mothers care. Half of this repair has been taken care of already. Unfortunately this father is not able to pick up his car without the other half of the payment and he is having a difficult time coming up with the rest. This father uses this car to pick up his daughter from school for visits, since the car has been in the shop for weeks he has missed out on precious time with his daughter which slows the process of reunification. With this weight lifted this father will be able to focus on his daughter and then bring her back home sooner.

Placement (aunt) took in her nieces this last week and are converting their office into the girls bedroom. Currently all bio-kids are sleeping in the parents room so that the girls can sleep in a bed. DCF requires the girls to have their own beds by a certain amount of time so that placement can keep the girls. This would be a huge help as the girls did not come with any of their own bedding or clothes so aunt is buying them all new things and "foster" proofing their house to meet regulation requirements.

Single mother on disability is working with DCCCA to keep children in school daily and involved in therapy services. This single mother has been struggling financially due to not receiving child support. This mother is in great need of 4 new tires on her vehicle. Worker was just notified that the spare tire has blown on vehicle today. This mother's vehicle is in great need of tires to allow her to transport her children to medical and therapy appointments each week. This mother has called Big O tires for a estimate and Walmart. Big O has the tires and may price match walmart. Walmart quote is near $450 without disposal fee. Big O price is $750 including disposal. This worker can provide Big O with paper quote to get price match as they have tires in stock unlike walmart. Donor will be able to contact Big O directly to provide payment once tires are installed. Worker is estimating cost as it is depending on disposal fees. This need is urgent as mother has multiple appointments scheduled over spring break for children.

A NRKIN placement for two young siblings, ages one and three is planning to adopt the children. The home does not have enough bedroom space for the children to share rooms once they are older and would like to remodel their basement into a living space with additional bedrooms. Currently, the home has two biological children, in a three bedroom home. So, the biological children share a bedroom and the two foster children share a bedroom. The home hopes to create more space in the basement and convert into bedrooms to allow the children to have their own rooms. Any assistance towards the cost of remodeling the basement or hands to help with construction and remodeling would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Looking for a private landlord that is willing to take a chance on a mother of 4 that has no rental or credit history. This mother has overcome addiction and hardship to be able to reunite with her children. She is currently working three jobs in order to be able to provide a stable house for her children. The children are ready to be back in the house with their mother. The last step in being able to reunite this family is finding a permanent and stable living situation for them. The children are all over the age of 10 and would prefer to stay in the KC metro area in order to stay in their current schools.
