Greetings! I'm working with a family who has a 7-year-old child who is blind. During the school year, he was provided with a walking stick (cane) at school, which supported his mobility and independence throughout the day. However, now that school is out for the summer, he no longer has access to that resource. The family is seeking assistance in obtaining a walking stick for him to use at home and in the community. Having his own cane would greatly enhance his ability to navigate his surroundings safely and confidently, encouraging continued skill development and independence outside the school environment.

This support would be incredibly meaningful to the child and his family, helping him maintain consistency in his mobility and access to the world around him.

A four-year-old child is starting Pre-K and is need of school uniforms. She needs polo collared shirts in red, white, or navy and Khaki or Navy pants all in size 4T.

This family is a family of five. She is a single mom working hard to reunify her family. She is needing assistance with transportation at this time. We are requesting a few bus passes to get her to and from seeing all of her children. Anything is very appreciated!

This family is a family of two. The mother is a single mother with a son who is only a few months old. The mother had transportation of her own until she started to face car troubles. She works hard and is doing what she can to get to and from visitation. We are requesting bus passes to help get this mom to and from her visits with her son until her car can be fixed. We appreciate any and all help for this family.

A grandmother is currently caring for her 3- and 1-year old grandsons. Grandmother recently had surgery on her foot and will be out of work for several weeks without pay. Grandmother would benefit from assistance with her current gas bill to keep her utility on until she is able to return back to work.

A foster parent is in need of assistance with paying her electric bill so that she can continue to care for her nieces and nephew who are in custody. She is in need of $200 to help pay her electric bill, as she has been paying for the needs of the children leaving less to cover other bills. If she receives this help, she will be able to continue caring for the kids and making sure they have a safe home with a relative while their parents work to reunify with them.

A resilient single mother of two young children (ages 3 and 12) has been facing ongoing financial hardship after escaping a violent household and becoming the sole provider for her family. Despite her determination, she has encountered significant barriers to securing stable employment—until now. She has just been offered a job starting on 07/21/25, a critical turning point in her journey toward stability and self-sufficiency. However, she is at immediate risk of losing her only means of transportation. She is behind on her car payments, and the dealership has notified her that the vehicle will be disabled on 07/17/25, unless a payment of $360 is made. Without this vehicle, she will be unable to commute to her new job or transport her children. Your support at this moment would not only prevent her from losing her car—it would ensure she can seize this opportunity for a fresh start.

We have a young mother who has been working hard to be reunited with her young child. Currently the only thing standing in her way is past due payment on a utility bill of 228.33. This amount is needed for her to be able to move the utilities to her new place. Once this is taken care of the child and their mother will be able to share the same home. In providing the family with this need, you would be helping a bio family reunite. This young woman again has worked hard to meet her goals and get to this moment.

The mother recently left prison at the beginning of the year and went to a halfway house. The mother would like to make changes to her life to reunify with her child. She is in need of help to receive a psychological evaluation to help to reunify with her child. The cheapest one I have found is 1200 and she doesnt have Soonercare to help pay for it. Any amount to help pay for her evaluation would be helpful.

Mother and Father of a 6-month-old baby needs help with obtaining a baby playpen and baby playmat to place under the baby playpen. The family lives in an apartment with hardwood floors and their son has recently started crawling. His parents are so happy about this milestone but also concerned due to the fact that their floor is very hard. The baby playpen and baby playmat would help with their son's safety and wellbeing.
