The agency has Permanent custody of two youth who has recently been reunified with their mother after beign in foster care for 6 years. The mother has beat her addiction and has been sober for 2 years. She has obtained a 4 bedroom home for she and her two children and is need of furniture so that the home would feel like a home. Any itmes would help to include beds, dressers, dining room table, dishes, pots pans, decorations for walls, utensils, dining room table, comforters, and micorwave. Her children are excited to return home and to be a family as their mohter is only parent that they have left.

Grandparents with limited income have a desire to be licensed but need additional items. The caregivers are caring for their 5-year-old grandson. The are in need of a lock box, 5lb fire extinguisher and a fingerprint or code doorknob. The doorknob is due to the caregiver having to place her medication behind a double locked door at the request of the child placement agency.

The Preparation for Adult Living Team wants every young adult to take advantage of all their benefits. It starts when they first enter PAL at age 14. At age 14 young adults can start participating in Circle of Supports. This is a meeting where all the support team comes together with the young adult to talk about their plans for the future. Where the young adult wants to live, what they want to study in school or what they see for their selves. We want to stress the importance of this with our young adults. We will be partnering with the COS team to throw an Ice Cream Social for our young adults. We want to introduce them to staff and discuss the importance of this. We are looking for support in doing this. We would love a gift card for a grocery store to buy supplies for the Ice Cream Social. We think hanging out discussing with a sweet treat would be a great start. Thank you all for your time.

There is a 14-year-old girl who has some mental health concerns that her mother is no longer able to address. She is no longer able to go home to her mother. However, her father is willing to care for her in a different state but, he cannot afford to fly to her and/or fly them both back. The family is in need of assistance with flight purchases to get the father to her and both of them back to him home state.

Caregiver has taken in 3 nephews and is managing meeting their basic needs as best she can. Caregiver is on a fixed income since taking in three additional people and currently the boys are sleeping on a queen size beds. They need their own sleeping space and this would greatly assist caregiver and the family.

Children’s aunt is in need of this assistance. They are needing bunk beds for two out of the three boys.
The boys will be much more comfortable being able to sleep in their own beds and have much more space for themselves.

The mother on this case is not working and requires assistance to see her child. She just made us aware that she is unable to get any transportation and really wants to visit her child.

The caregiver's 2 months old niece was just placed in her care and is in immediate need of diapers size 2 and baby wipes for the child. The caregiver is on a fixed income and could really use the items to for the infant's immediate needs.

The mother is a single parent of six children, currently at risk of eviction due to unpaid rent. She needs financial assistance to cover her overdue rent and avoid losing their home. Providing this support will help the family maintain housing stability, keep the children in their schools, and prevent the trauma of displacement. This assistance will give the mother the time and stability needed to improve her financial situation and care for her children.

The family is moving into a bigger home and will be getting beds for four grandchildren. The family has only asked for twin bedding two for boys and two for girls and sandals the kids can play in. The grandmother is asking for sizes 3 1/2, two children need 2 1/5 and the 4th is in need of size 1. That is all she is asking and needing.

A Kinship Family is in need with grocery assistance. This family was asked to leave their home as the homeowners sold the home without the tenants knowledge. This kinship family is already made up of seven individuals, including two adults, and 5 children. The family has had some financial barriers and struggles due to this unexpected expense of moving. The family was able to find a home within their budget, however they are currently struggling financially. Due to their immigration status, this family is unable to request government assistance. The family is already utilizing the food pantries in their local area, however could still use assistance with an HEB/Walmart Gift Card for groceries. With this assistance, this will provide some financial relieve until the family is able to adjust. A gift card to HEB or Walmart is being requested at this time, in any amount, that may serve this family.

The maternal aunt has her 4 nieces and nephew placed in her home. She is in need 2 dressers and 1 High Chair.

A youth currently involved in services has made significant progress in their personal growth and is working hard to stay on track. They have expressed a strong interest in attending an upcoming concert as a reward and motivator. Providing tickets would not only fulfill a meaningful personal goal but also serve as positive reinforcement for their continued engagement and success. Your support would help make this experience possible and deeply meaningful for them.
