I am a school social worker at Gerner Family Education Center. Our building services ages 3-5 all of which have a variety of needs that are accommodated via special education or meet income requirements for our programming. One area that we have seen as a huge need is for diapers and pull ups. Because WIC limitations and the every rising cost of these items, we have experiencing several families that are not able to provide the appropriate amount of pull ups and diapers to meet the needs of their child. We have had several families that have to stretch their diapers beyond their use time which is causing potential skin rashes and overall discomfort for our already disadvantaged children. By having a supply of readily available pull ups and wipes for classroom and parent use would drastically fill a huge need. The size of diapers are as follows: Size 1 (infant) 2 boxes
Size 3T, 4T and 5T pull ups... Enough to give one box to each classroom. Happy Bottoms has been a great resource however with a need this large they are not able to assist.
Special Instructions:
The size of diapers are as follows: Size 1 (infant) 2 boxes
Size 3T, 4T and 5T pull ups... Enough to give one box to each high need classroom (we have around 10 high need classrooms)

She is doing well on her case plan tasks. This will help the family move closer to reintegration. Currently, the children are placed with their aunt. There is a strong family unit of support, they just do not have the funds to help her with this financial need.

Bio Mom has recently been reunited with her two boys and also has a two month old newborn baby girl. Mom is doing very well, but unfortunately recently lost her job due to the boys having some behavior issues with their daycare. Due to loss of job, Mom has a couple of physical needs to help with baby girl and one of her boys. Mom is attempting to go out daily with the boys to help them with their energy level and get some physical playing time. She needs a stroller to help transport baby girl during these outings. The stroller would be best if a car seat could be supported in it and then when she is not in her car seat, she could be supported as well in the stroller. She is still very small, but will grow and hopefully the stroller could accommodate her growth. Her oldest boy is also in need of a pair of tennis shoes. Size 9, preferably easy to put on and take off, Velcro closure type design. Updated on September 21, 2023 by an Agency Worker The car seat that Mom is currently using is a Snug Ride 35 Lite.

Student and father live with paternal grandfather and paternal uncle due to father being disabled and not able to make decisions for the home. The family was evicted from their rental house due to the landlord wanting to sell the house. The family has found a new place to move into but that home is not available until October 1, 2023. The family has been staying at a motel, but do not have enough money to stay there until the new house is available to move into and still be able to pay the first month rent and the deposit on the new house. The family only has enough money to stay at the motel until 9/21/23 and then they are not sure where to go after that and are trying to figure out 9/22-9/30. Requesting a motel voucher or place to stay so the family is not split up for the remainder of days between the last day paid for at the motel until move-in date at the new house of 10/1/23.

D is a 14-year-old male and T is a 15-year-old male. They are so excited after two long years to be going home with Mom and their brothers. This mother of five boys has worked incredibly hard to reunite her family and it is finally happening. The boys lost their father about 3 years ago, and have been staying with relatives since that time. D and T's mother wants nothing more than to have all her children back home with her now that she has been working to get back on her feet. The boys are in need of beds for the home so they can be returned to their mother. The children's father unfortunately passed away over 2 years ago so they could use all the love and support that we can give them. Can you please help these boys with a new or gently used bed to sleep in? Thank you for anything that you can do to help this family's life be a little easier. We appreciate you so much and all that you bless children and families with to make their lives better.
Children's Division is currently working alongside a recovering single mother who has been a lifelong abuser of drugs. She is currently 60 days clean with the intentions of remaining clean for her son. Currently she is residing in a sober living home with her child She is going to be starting a program with Pawsprerity in a few weeks, but is in need of financial assistance. In order to stay in her sober living home, she is required to pay "rent". Her need is $600, but any amount would be greatly appreciated by the family. Mom is doing her best to better her life for herself and her child.
