This traditional foster home is requesting bunk beds (including mattresses) in order to maintain placement of three DHS children in the home.

Due to the family living on a fixed income, they are in need of help with baby items to help maintain a placement. The family is needing help with getting baby lock for doors and a baby monitor to ensure safety.

Hello I am needing help with fixing up a mother's car so she is able to see her children for her visits. This would help mom out with starting Trial Reunification so she can get her kiddos back home with her. She has been having difficulties getting to different towns to see her kiddos on a regular basis because her car is not in working condition and she does not have much family to help her when needed. All this car needs in a front left ball joint to get this car up and running! if someone is available to help fix this car up this will help mom get her children back home. The car is 2000 mercury MGL that just needs a left ball joint repaired.

Hello, we have a biological mom who is in trial reunification with her two children. She recently lost her job but quickly found a job so it would not disrupt the girls. She is a bio mom who is resilient and does everything she can to provide for her girls. She is short on rent and we don’t want her to lose her place of stay and cause a disruption to the girls placement

Single mother enrolled in services, and seeking employment. Mother's vehicle registration is past due and key fob is broken/ needs rekeyed. The total estimated for key repair and registration is roughly $400. Mother is having difficulties getting to and from appointments, employment interviews, laundry mat ect. Help would be appreciated. Mother is a victim of extensive trauma to include domestic violence. The car has been she and her children's safe place many times. Mom finally has realized the need to address her trauma and now transportation is a barrier to doing this consistently. This would help mom immensely in being successful in her Family Centered Services Case and prevent children from having to elevate to another level. Thank you

We have a family with three children, who desperately need our help to pay for the deposits on the apartment. They have been involved with us for more than a year. The parents have been working on the services and making good choices. Mom is now working full time, and dad is working part time and made initial payments to the apartment but still need help paying for the rest so they can move into the apartment soon. We kindly ask for your help and support for this family. By helping this family pay the deposits, they can secure a place for their children, and we should be able to request trial reunification. Hello everyone, I have a family on my caseload that consists of a single mom and her two teenagers. Both teenagers want to enroll in driving school. Both of these teenagers are doing amazingly well in school and are working part-time jobs to save for a car once they are licensed. As a single mom, making a fresh start for her family, she is simply not able to afford the classes for both kids. This mom is struggling to work, attend services, and also transport both children to school and work. Each child will need $390.00 to attend the classes. These are really great kids, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, I have a family on my caseload who is working hard to ensure their home is safe. They have a 7-year-old boy whose A/C unit in his room broke during the winter. This summer is expected to be very harsh. I am requesting $150.00 so they can purchase him a new one before the summer weather starts. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, I have a family that is doing very well. This family has gone through some traumatic events and come out stronger. One of the parents was required to take 52 weeks of batterer's intervention classes. They have done amazingly and only have 6 classes left. They are required to pay $25 per class and have to pay $75 for an exit exam. This has cost them $1375 in total, and they have never requested financial assistance. I am writing in hopes that someone is willing to fund their exit exam that is coming up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I have a wonderful kinship foster mother who could use a little bit of help. She has placement of a teen, along with her own teen in the home. She works full time at a local mental health facility and also assists her adult daughter (who is disabled) with her own children, two of which are special needs. This lady has a heart of gold and would never ask anyone for anything but would give anyone her the shirt off her back. She lives in a small three bedroom rental and each time I have been to the home, she is so apologetic about "the mess". She is so embarrassed by the state of her home, which is just cluttered with stuff everywhere...clothes scattered about in the bedrooms, things all over the kitchen since it is so tiny with limited cabinet space. She has talked numerous times about how the home has absolutely no storage at all since it is an older home, and she knows the home needs some attention, but she simply has nowhere to put things. I offered to request a home organizer to come out and help her, but she said she is too prideful for that. But when I offered some dressers and storage items, she agreed. So that is my request...this client would be IMMENSELY grateful to have some dressers, and some shelving for their bedrooms/kitchen. This would help enhance the comfort and live-ability of the home for everyone and would take a load off her back. Any assistance you can provide to this sweet lady would be so appreciated!
