The Department has a teenage boy who has a birthday this week. He is unfortunately placed in a local shelter due to none of his relatives being appropriate for placement. He has been in the foster care system for quite some time and is feeling very defeated. We would love to provide something special for his birthday to lift his spirits and make him feel seen and loved. His number one birthday wish is for a Hydro Flask water bottle and his favorite place to eat is McDonalds, especially their Frappes. We appreciate any help meeting this need to make our guy feel special!

This is a family of 7 (5 children)that has been without a home since Nov 2021. They have been living in extended stay since then because their home was sold for public use. They have been searching tirelessly for a home that is large enough and affordable in the Bentonville area for the older children to continue to attend their current schools and for the younger children (3) to be close to the school they attend which is Hope Academy of NWA - a charter school that serves children with trauma and behaviors. They have finally found a home to rent in the area and are now needing help with the deposits. The full deposit is up to $2250 with first and last months rent and another deposit added onto that as well. They are a low income family and they have expended most of their savings while living in the extended care which costs quite a bit more than normal monthly rent. Any help toward the deposit is very much appreciated!
