Help Improve a Child's Wellbeing
The household is Mother and her 2 children, and Mother's boyfriend and his 2 children. The Mother is looking to get a bunk bed for her children and some bedding. The children currently share a mattress, so only one would be needed. The children are 5 and 6. There is no preference on anything.

Help Prevent a Child From Entering Foster Care
The two boys do not have beds and are needing some; The boys are currently sleeping on the couch. At this time Mother does not have the funds to provide beds for them or the frame. She works full time and does doordash to make ends meet. Due to their room being small, bunk beds will be best. With it now being summer, the family will be in the home more.Â

Mother has 6 children in total, but her oldest 3 were removed from her care & adopted out. Her littlest 3 children remain in her care, but she is diagnosed as being SMI (serious mental illness) & is unable to work. Her youngest is about to celebrate her first birthday, so she could use a crib that would be able to transition into a toddler bed for when she gets older. Mother could also use bedding for the crib & mattress.

Mother is moving to a new apartment after fleeing a domestic violence relationship. Mother's money has been depleted after paying for the new apartment which has left the family without bedding and furniture items. Mother is also pregnant with twins and is seeking a twin bassinet as she is expected to give birth soon.

Help Make an Adoptive Placement
We are in need of physical items for an adoptive relative home of a young male child. The child is transitioning to the home within the next few weeks. The family is a single income home and have adopted two other nieces/nephews in the past few years. They are committed to caring for the children, however, have struggled the past few years with financial stressors due to funerals, medical care, and having only one income. The family would appreciate help with getting a mattress for a twin bed, bedding, curtains, and a ceiling fan for the room. The family would appreciate any additional furniture for the home or the child's room. The family is in need of a used or new washer, the plug is the normal type with the 3 prongs (I have a photo for reference), and a table with 8 chairs. Anything else would be helpful and appreciated.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
The family has 10 children, ages newborn through 17 years old. They have recently moved in with their mother. The mother was homeless for a couple of months and was receiving resources to help her obtain housing. Once she was able to find a home she had all of the children move in with her, due to their father having to move out of the place they were residing. The parents are separated because the mother found out that the father was using substances while he was at work and no longer wanted to be with him for lying to her. The mother had been sober of substance abuse for more than 10 years and expressed an interest in completing her GED to receive a higher income to provide for her children. The mother only has two twin mattresses that are pushed together and a couch that allow the children to sleep. The mother is in need of mattress for all of the children (a crib frame/crib mattress, 3 toddler mattresses/ bed frames, 6 twin mattresses/bed frames). When the mother moved into the home, she does not have a lot of items and expressed need of cleaning supplies, blankets, and kitchen sets of bowls, plates, and silverware. If the family is able to receive any donations, they can continue to settle into their new home and make the bedrooms special places for the children to sleep in there comfortably.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
Father has been reunified with his infant son. Father was a victim of domestic violence and has since had to start over. He is a first time parent and is learning what he needs in order to care for his family. He just got a new job at Angry Crab. The father had to move into a home with his mother. It is a one bedroom apartment and they have minimal items within the home. He has a crib, some toys, baby body sling, bottles and formula. He is trying to care for his son with minimal support. DCS was able to provide a pack-n-play and is working with him to locate local resources. He has clothes for the baby but does not have funds for items for his son, as his son starts to grow. The father is hoping to be able to save money for his own apartment for him and his son to move into. The home he is in now only has a bed and a crib. His mother is on disability and they have saved items and collected things for the baby since knowing he was going to be born. The father is looking for baby items such as a swing, baby bath
