The biological mother of a child that has been placed in foster care has been evicted from her apartment and is living in her van. It was discovered today that the van needs a new thermostat. The van is now both her shelter and her transportation.

DHS is working with a family with an 8yr old girl and 3yr old boy. The children are residing with family. The 8 year old loves art and has asked for mechanical pencils, acrylic markers, and sketchbooks to further her art and give her some things to do during the summer.

DHS is working with a mother and her 7 year old son. The child is currently in foster care. The child has had a recent growth spurt, DHS and the foster parent would ask for help with obtaining size 7/8 tan pants/shorts, polo shirts red, navy blue, forest green to assist with the upcoming school year uniforms. Helping the family with obtaining fitting uniforms will ensure the child remains within compliance to the terms of school.

Mother of 4 is in need of a cell phone with minutes to ensure that she can maintain contact with her 4 children as well as her attorneys and team. She is struggling financially but is working diligently on getting into inpatient in order for reunification to be a possibility. Her limited resources are being used for gas to ensure that she has family time with her children.

Mother of 4 kids under the age of 6 is in need of gas to attend family time with her children, attend therapy, and for transportation to inpatient treatment in Aurora. Mother has attempted to sell plasma in order to have the money for gas. She is also combating depression while attempting to engage in services.

DHS is working with a family who has a 6yr old daughter, and a 3yr old son. This request is for the mother.

The mother is requesting assistance with a pay as you go phone and minutes as she currently does not have the means for active communications. Providing mother with a phone will ensure she is able to communicate with the professionals on the team, schedule family time, answer calls for employment opportunities, and participate in her treatment plan.

A paternal aunt of a one year old girl is requesting assistance with 5T pullups and wipes. Aunt is attempting to potty train and having the pullups would be able to assist with that request. Aunt is on a fixed income and not able to provide any additional assistance toward these needs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A great grandmother of a one year old girl is requesting assistance with obtaining a stroller. Grandmother is on a fixed income and any funds that she has are used to ensure that she is meeting the basic needs of the children, which includes their housing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

A great grandmother of two four month old twin boys is requesting assistance with 6-9 month clothes for the boys. Grandmother is on a fixed income and using any income that she has to provide for the children's other basic needs, such as housing. Any assistance with this request would be greatly appreciated.

A mother of a three year old boy and a two year old boy is requesting assistance with obtaining a cell phone with minutes as well. Mother is struggling with maintaining contact with the team due to her not being able to have a phone that is consistent. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

A mother of her two year old son and four year old daughter is requesting assistance with paying her utility bill. She is behind on her rent but has not received any assistance with that, so she is putting all her money toward her rent and requesting assistance to ensure that her utilities are paid. Mother recently went through a situation which resulted in her financial situation being strained, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello - DHS is working with a father of a ten year old. This father is requesting help to pay for his next months rent at his sober home. He is requesting 250. Helping with this need will allow this father to continue to work on his sobriety and allow for him to have shelter. We are asking for a visa gift-card if this request can be fulfilled.
