The family is needing help with a dumpster and carpet cleaning. The family moved in with additional family and is a lower-income home.

Mother with 2 boys, ages 13 and 7, recently left a domestic violence situation, receiving an order of protection. She signed a lease for a new home and found out that their duplex does not come with a refrigerator, washer or dryer. Neighbors were able to help with the refrigerator. The family is need of basic kitchen items, including pots and pans, dishes, utensils, and cups, as well as queen and king size sheets. The boys share a bed, but a separate twin or full sized bed for the 7-year-old would be wonderful.

The family's new home is on the same block as their previous residence. The mom could use help with moving furniture items to the new house, including a couch, love seat, bed frames, and TV stands. She does not have the means or money to move these items herself. They do not have any family in this area. The mom is working part-time and has been reluctant to ask for assistance; however, she finally asked for help because of her boys. She is very appreciative of any help and support. The family is supposed to have everything moved out of their previous residence by Sunday, June 8; however, the moving could be postponed until next week, as the landlord has been accommodating.

A mother whom currently resides in Clay county has lost custody of her children and they are currently in Children's Division care and custody. The mother was residing with the father in their home; however, one day he never returned from "work" and had taken their only working vehicle, most of the money in their accounts, the mother's methadone, and left the mother in the home with past due bills. The mother could greatly benefit from assistance with paying her past due bills so that she can at least have another month or so in her home until a better situation is located for her. The home is way past due on mortgage, I believe she stated 3 payments are past due and we are worried about the home being foreclosed on and mom becoming homeless because of this.

Mom of three kids needs help with a utility bill that has a disconnect warning date of 6/9/25. Total owed on bill is $249. Total owed to remove disconnect notice is $182. Mom reports at current time she doesn't have income as she is in classes to earn her GED and lost her part-time job as she did not have childcare. Mom reports she is looking for part-time positions that will support her need to achieve GED, provide childcare and to have income.

Mom applied for LIHEAP but is fearful it will not be received in time to prevent disconnect. If minimum can be received it will hopefully by time for LIHEAP to resolve the remaining balance.

This family includes mom, dad, twin sisters (10), and younger sister (8). The family has a great love for nature and animals; they can be found playing outside on any given day. Due to recent financial hardships, including an emergency surgery for dad and faulty transmission in the family vehicle, the family is unable to pay mortgage for this upcoming month and is at risk. Family is seeking assistance for this month in order to maintain stability. The family has therapeutic support services to help them navigate this time and we are hopeful you can help provide this gift to support them in the most important way- maintaining the safety of their home. Edit to add family has a plan in place for next month and going forward just need assistance in catching up the past due that is currently due.

Mom and three children are in hotel and are in need of food. CD was able to help them get a long term deal on motel, but need food in the mean time while mom starts her new job on Monday. The family has been provided a list of local food pantries, but has no transportation which makes their situation more difficult.

The father of a family of five suddenly passed away without any life insurance. The family is not only mourning this profound loss but also finds itself in a financial crisis. In addition to funeral expenses, their one working vehicle is experiencing electrical issues and cannot be used until it is repaired. They also need to replace their oven.

I have a single mother of three kids who is working with children’s division. Two of the kids are sleeping in the living room, one on the couch and one in a chair. Mother is wanting to give the kids the bedrooms, but she does not have beds for the children. If mother is able to get beds for the children, she can move them into their bedroom’s where they can feel safe and comfortable.

I have a single mother of three kids. Mom has been working with children’s division getting her daughter mental health treatment. During this process mother also engaged in intensive in-home services all while applying for work. Mom did get a job, but she had to get credentialed for her employment. With that process taking a while she fell behind on her rent and got evicted. Mother has found a new apartment but needs a little help with the deposit. Once this need has been met her and the children will have a safe place to stay, and mom can continue working on her children’s mental health and wellbeing.

Paternal uncle of two girls has requested assistance with getting ethnic hair product. This uncle has been placement of his nieces for over a year and is moving towards adopting them. The girls love getting their hair braided, especially by their uncle. It aids in maintaining a strong bond between the girls and their uncle. They are needing ethnic hair moisturizer to help take proper care of the girls' hair. They have used the brand "Cantu" in the past; any hair moisturizer will work. A lot of moisturizer is needed to maintain the health of the hair. This uncle will appreciate any help he can get!

We are requesting a bunk bed and a full size bed and frame, and mattresses for a mother and her 3 children. They are leaving a violent situation to stay with family members and need appropriate bedding. The bunk bed is for a 11 and 17 year old boys, and the full size bed is for mom and 3 year old daughter.
