Restore Community Church - Park Hill

A single mother of two provides for her children and her own mother. There is a language barrier that has made it difficult for the mother to keep a steady job though she is always looking. She has had issues paying her electricity bill and it has now gotten high with a disconnect notice. She has tried a couple other places for support but has not been able to get help with it. She believes if she is able to get her bill under control, she will be able to manage it moving forward.

Family is having some financial struggles due to grandmother being sick. They had their phones shut off due to not being able to pay the bill. They need their phones to stay in contact with each other throughout the day.

A mother is moving into a new apartment, more equipped for her children and their family's needs. The mother has an outstanding balance of $77 for the apartment that needs to be paid before she can move in. Assistance with this balance would help the family to move in a timely manner and not lose this apartment that they have been approved for. Assistance with this balance would also help this mother as she is close to reintegration with her daughter and establishing this housing with help speed up that process.

On March 28th, this family had a police high speed chase on their street, and as a result one of the cars involved in the chase totaled both of their vehicles and went through the front of their house. This family has been financially devastated by the unexpected expenses while waiting for insurance reimbursements to come through. They are currently living in a hotel until the house is repaired and utilizing has many community resources as possible, such as food pantries but do not qualify for many resources due to not typically being a low income family. As of today, the family only has a couple of hundred dollars left to last them through the beginning of next month.

Currently, the family has $719 in miscellaneous bills such as gas, insurance premiums, hospital payment plans, and others. Additionally, they are having to pay out of pocket for hotel costs until reimbursements can come through. The family is so grateful for any assistance. We are asking for $1,500 to cover the miscellaneous bills and the remainder to go towards the hotel costs until their house is able to be repaired. Thank you for your consideration.

Hi Restore Family. I came across this need through a fellow Church Pastor of a CarePortal Church who was asking for assistance for this family. A working, single mom of one special needs teenager has agreed to take her sister's children into kinship care after one of her sister's children tragically passed away as a result of neglect. To keep the other children safe, they will go live with their auntie. The auntie, and now foster mom of her sister's children, paid for the funeral expenses of her nephew. This unexpected expense has put her behind on this month's rent. She has paid half of the month's rent, but needs assistance with the additional half and some added late fees. Please pray for this family. If you can assist in funding any portion of this rent, it would help these children stay together in Auntie's loving home. A single mother has one child in foster care with many disabilities and another child that lives with her. She was recently let go from her delivery job due to getting into a car accident. She is actively seeking new employment however she is struggling to pay her utility bills in the meantime. She currently has a bill of $506.13 that is needing to be paid and is being threatened to have her utilities shut off. Paying the entirety or even partial of this bill will assist the child to remain in her home and take a burden off of her while she can focus on gaining employment to support her and her children.

Youth has not attended prom before and is asking for $20 to purchase snacks for him and his date to attend the prom. He already has a suit but is asking for this assistance.

Family is in need of assistance with their gas bill. Mother is a single mother with 7 children in the home with one on the way. She has been unable to work due to medical complications with her pregnancy. Mother did receive a disconnect notice for earlier this month, but thankfully the gas has not been shut off at this time. Any assistance with the bill would be appreciated by the family.

This family is currently working with Children's Division through Family Centered Services and the children are out of the home and with relatives due to the conditions of the home. The family is requesting a dumpster at the home so they can remove items in the home they they do not need or are now so unsanitary they can no longer be kept.

By fulfilling this need, this family will be one massive step closer to reunifying and the children, parent, and grandmother will be far more healthy moving forward.

Single mom of 4 kids; mom and dad are not together but up until recently they were co-parenting well and sharing expenses well. Dad has not been helping mom with the car payment as agreed upon. Mom is one month behind on the payment and is not sure how she will get caught up. Mom needs a safe mode of transportation to get the kids to/from school and herself to/from work. Total due is $631. Any help is very appreciated!

This hard working, expecting mom had a challenging situation with work while pregnant, and she got behind on her rent. She has gained new employment and is actively looking for additional income, but she needs help getting caught up. Any small portion of help would be appreciated to help her get back on her feet as she gets ready to welcome baby!

He is preparing to attend college this fall to pursue his dream of becoming a graphic designer and filmmaker. He has shown an unwavering determination to follow his passion for art and storytelling. He has a genuine desire to create meaningful, impactful art that speaks to the issues and disparities he sees in the world around him. He wants to use his work to give voice to the people and causes that need to be heard, and to inspire others with stories that matter.
