Single mother of two small children just completed her court ordered services and has had the children returned to her care after a lot of work on the mother's part. The mother obtained new housing and could use assistance obtaining a couch, washer and dryer for the home. The couch would allow for family bonding time in the living room and the washer and dryer so she can stay home with the children and provide clean clothing without having to haul two small children to the laundry mat in addition to all the clothes, and spend her limited income.

his family recently moved into a new home after leaving a severely overcrowded and rodent infested living situation. Unfortunately they had to leave most of their belongings behind and are now starting over with very little. They are in urgent need of beds, household furniture, kitchen supplies, food and cleaning products. There are three children in the home ages 4, 10, and 12 and their school attendance and academic performance have been impacted by the lack of basic resources.

Mom of a very active 5-year-old has made great progress toward having child returned to her care. Mom has maintained an apartment for several months and recently began having the child home for overnight visits. The 3rd story apartment's windows go to the floor and need guards to protect the child from any accidental falls. Mom's apartment has 8 windows, and the cost of the window guards is a major barrier despite mom working 2 jobs. Window guards for 14x38 inch windows will fit. Mom has checked with her landlord to ensure that they are allowed to screw the guards into place.

A family of 5 who has been separated and homeless for over 2 months is finally being united and moving into a new place to start fresh, and they are requesting assistance in obtaining some necessities for the children when they move. There are two boys in the house. One is an older teenager and the other a pre-teen. Both are in need of twin bed frames along with mattresses, and two dressers for them to store their belongings. The older boy has multiple disabilities making a twin size for him just what he needs. The single mom of this family is so appreciative of any assistance she can get for when they make the big move in a week!

Mother has worked diligently in the last couple months to complete all of her services and obtain housing for her children to return to her care. Child has been in numerous foster home placements and is eagerly awaiting to return home. A single mother and 10 children recently acquired a permanent residence after living out of a hotel room for over a month. This family is in need of a fridge to store food and drinks. Currently, the home is without a fridge, and they are unable to keep much more than canned or boxed foods in the home.

The stove that was at the previous residence had only one working burner and the oven did not work. The mom is currently using a hot plate to prepare all food and could significantly benefit from a full-size stove.

12 year old girl and a 4 year old boy currently living with spilt parents and the father is in need of some house hold items for the children. The family is in need of Two dressers, toddler bed (for boy), toddler bed set, toddler mattress protector, 4 pillows, queen sheets (for the girl).

The boy loves monster trucks and cars. The girl like a flowers of any kind for the bedding.

Hello. First off, thank you all in this county for all that you do as while you make my job a bit "easier" the reality is, we are working hand in hand to enrich family's lives one by one in this county, and for that I am incredibly grateful for this community! I am working with a young teen mom. This young lady is doing a fantastic job at ensuring all her infant son's needs are being met however any mom, any age, we put our selves last. This young lady is ever so slightly too young to obtain a job and her family's financial situation have her needs being met minimally. When i ask a kiddo if they have everything they need and they ask for something as simple as fitted bed sheets or pillows, it pulls at my heart strings. Her requests were simple... and i had to pull them out of her! fitted sheets , some pillows, and a carpet runner or a small area rug for a room about a 8x 10 ft carpet however two carpet runners, would work well too. This lovely lady explained that her favorite colors are pink and or purple.

Single mother of 2 children in need of a washer and dryer. Her washer and dryer broke and she does not drive so in order to get to the laundry mat she has to rely on public transportation or walk with her belongings. Her washer and dryer are electric.

Single MO of 2 CHN ages 1 and 7. MO recently moved to the area from the Bronx to remove herself and family from a domestic violence situation. CH who is 7 is in special education classes and requires higher level of care. MO needs assistance with housing items such as pillows, blankets, and furniture. At this time there is only 1 chair in the home and a high chair. The family is using milk crates to sit on. The apartment is very small

Mother was incarcerated when she gave birth to her child and her sister took custody until mother was released. This mother has changed her whole way of thinking since having her child and now her whole outlook is being a better person for her baby. She has since been successful with all services needed, obtaining and maintaining residence and income, and regaining custody of her child. Please help her remain successful for her and her child. She is in need of any type of air conditioning. Her apartment is really warm already and it's not even summer yet.
