Older youth is moving into his first apartment on 5/15 and is set to age out of care on 6/19. Agency is working on gathering furniture and resources he will need to support him in his new apartment and set him up for success before he ages out of care. Area programs for beds have a waitlist. Youth is in need of a bedframe and mattress.

A family with two hard sleepers is hoping to get two shaker alarms so they wake up easier in the mornings. This will allow the individuals to get to school and work on time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration!

This request is for a 2 and half year-old female in KS foster care who was placed with her grandmother in Kansas City. She is needing a toddler bed for this child as she currently doesn't have a bed for her. This child loves Minnie Mouse. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Hello team, we are reaching out to request help for Mrs. J and her three wonderful kiddos. It is the end of the month, and agencies such as Catholic charities, Eckan, and Salvation Army have run out of funds. Mrs. J is kindly requesting help with her $200 dollar housing payment as she had unexpected bills and a hardship this past month. I am working with a single mom of four. This mom has her hands full and is in need of a little help. Two of her kiddos have special needs and her youngest kiddo isn't even a year old yet. One of her kids with special needs has a history of eloping and he does not know how to recognize danger. Recently he has got out of the home twice and managed to get a few blocks away from his home before anyone noticed he left the home. He is also non verbal so if he were to get lost he would have no way of communicating who he is or where he lives. We were able to provide the family with a baby gate, however, kiddo is really smart and has learned to climb over the gate. So I am requesting some door alarms for the front and back door. This is an older home so the door does not lay flush with the door frame. I know this mom has attempted to use door alarms in the past but she said the ones she got do not work on her doors because the door does not sit flush with the door frame it goes in about half an inch.

We have recently placed a toddler and infant in the home with their mother. The family does not have a washing machine. The washing machine would help the family as small children can create a lot of laundry. The family resides in an upper apartment and it is difficult to bring all the laundry to a laundry mat while having two young children to care for.

Mom is in need of a new carpet and some new furniture. Mom has tried to clean up the carpet, but every time she attempts to clean it, it still get messy. Mom is wanting to get rid of it entirely, but doesn't have the funds. Mom also lacks some furniture in the home and could use help getting a couch or two.

A single mother of four is needing help with a few things as she is going through a tough time with kids medical issues, buying a new washer, etc. Her older kids have went through a growth spirt over winter and have nothing for these warmer months. She is also in need for a some hygiene/household products. Details listed below. oldest son needs shirts, shorts, socks: wears size mens medium, neutral colors daughter needs shorts, shirts, anything for the summer, dresses etc: shes putting her in womens large or womens size 8, girly not picky middle son: shorts, shirts: wears size boys 6, 6/7 Family needs: body wash, shampoo/conditioner (anything but suave or V05), baby Aveeno wash, liquid laundry soap

Single mom in Cameron is reunifying with her children. She is in need of two twin mattresses.

On March 28th, this family had a police high speed chase on their street, and as a result one of the cars involved in the chase totaled both of their vehicles and went through the front of their house. This family has been financially devastated by the unexpected expenses while waiting for insurance reimbursements to come through. They are currently living in a hotel until the house is repaired and utilizing has many community resources as possible, such as food pantries but do not qualify for many resources due to not typically being a low income family. As of today, the family only has a couple of hundred dollars left to last them through the beginning of next month.

Currently, the family has $719 in miscellaneous bills such as gas, insurance premiums, hospital payment plans, and others. Additionally, they are having to pay out of pocket for hotel costs until reimbursements can come through. The family is so grateful for any assistance. We are asking for $1,500 to cover the miscellaneous bills and the remainder to go towards the hotel costs until their house is able to be repaired. Thank you for your consideration.

Help a family care for newborn twins!

Born only a month ago, 2 boys were given to their aunt straight from the hospital. The family is looking for bassinets to have an adequate place for the babies to sleep. The family lives in a single level home and has little space, because of this they are looking for two bassinets rather than full cribs.
