Hello! I have a family that is struggling to make ends meet since they financially helped their extended family flee an unsafe and dangerous situation in Afghanistan to come to the US to live with them. The dad is driving for Door Dash to help supplement some income, but they are still struggling, as they are helping to feed an additional 2 children and 2 adults on top of their own 3 children. This family would really appreciate the help with a King Soopers card to be able to buy groceries. Thank you!

We are seeking support for a mother who is currently experiencing homelessness and living out of her car. She has recently secured a job and is actively working to improve her housing situation. King Soopers gift cards would be especially helpful in providing access to gas and essential resources. This support would assist her in attending family time, appointments, and treatment, which are extremely helpful on her path towards stability and reunification.

Two teens have been placed with grandparents due to concerns of domestic violence, parental substance abuse and parental mental health issues. The children are unable to obtain more belongings from the home and had limited clothes with them when they were placed. Grandparents are retired and on a fixed income. They have been doing laundry daily so the children have clean clothes, but this is not sustainable and will impact utilities. Family is requesting assistance with clothing for the children.

Baby girl was born in November of 2024. Mother has extreme mental health conditions and diagnosis's, shortly after giving birth mother was admitted to the State Mental Health hospital in Colorado where she currently remains. Due to this father was forced to quit his full-time job to be able to stay home and care for the newborn. Since having to leave his long-time employment father is experiencing significant financial hardships and received an eviction notice. Father was able to receive emergency assistance to remain in the home until May 2025, the landlord is not willing to continue to rent to this family. Father will be moving into a shelter on May 1st with his infant daughter and teenage son. The family is not able to bring many belongings with them and is need of a storage unit for 1-3 months or a place to store their household belongings while they work to get on their feet at shelter.

The father of this family recently got full custody of his two children due to their mom's substance use. This father has done everything he can to show he is stable and good to take his girls. Recently CPS was contacted for education neglect because his daughter has not been in school. The caseworker went to meet the family and the father showed the caseworker his brake situation on his vehicle. the dad reported that it is unsafe for him to drive this vehicle to get his kids to school and that's why she has not been attending school this father is doing everything he can and just needs a break and help with fixing his vehicle so it's safe and working for him and his children. The dad has not been able to work because of the vehicle issues and not having transportation as well as to work and if the kids are home and not getting to school he is watching them. The dad needs front brakes rotors caliber on the driver side and back brakes and rotors. This family would benefit from help so he can get back to work and the kids can get back to daycare and school. it could be less than the quote depeidning on the extent

Mom is requesting two car seats - for a 2.5 year old (27lbs) and a 7 month old (17lbs). These car seats will greatly help mom be able to transport her baby girls safely and help mom as she and the kids transition into their own healthy, living situation. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Single mother needs some assistance with some items for 14-year old kiddo. They are hoping that can get a Walmart gift card so that they can purchase some hygiene items, bedding, and laundry detergent and other household cleaning products. Mother is not working on a consistent basis due to transportation issues.

Child needs a 4T boys suit for church (new/used) and a $25 Walmart gift card . Kiddo was placed with kin over the weekend. A $25 Wal Mart dollar gift card is needed to help with getting supplies for him.

I am currently working with three children who were removed in an emergency situation this past Friday and placed in foster care. The children have been homeless for some time and prior to their removal they had to leave all of their belongings behind to seek shelter at a homeless shelter. Since being removed the children have no clothes of their own. This is the third time these children have been removed and it is a difficult process for them so having clothes of their own that feel comfortable for them will be so important to their overall wellbeing during this process. The oldest child is 14 years old and is having a really difficult time with not having any clothes that feel comfortable for her and allow her to express herself in such a small way.
