Family is on housing lists and are stayin in a local motel the last few months. At the end of the month they struggle to wait for their funds to continue paying for nights in the hotel. They will be out of money tomorrow and will be living in a car for the remainder of the month, until they get funded on the 1st. They need 4 nights motel at $130 a night. Any help is greatly appreciated. They are working to remedy the situation but are on hard times.

The family of one of our students is facing an urgent and heartbreaking situation. The father, who is the family's primary provider, was recently involved in a devastating car accident that left him severely injured. After spending over a week hospitalized, he is now wheelchair-bound and awaiting critical surgery. Unable to work for the foreseeable future, the family is struggling to meet even their most basic needs. I am requesting support in the form of a Target or Walmart gift card to help them purchase groceries and essential household items. This small gesture of care would make a meaningful difference as they navigate an incredibly difficult time.

Mother needs funds for food. Mother has been looking for employment but has not been successful. Although, mother is having that challenge, mother is meeting the case plan goals/court orders and is enrolled in parenting classes, family preservation, and soon individual therapy. Furthermore, mother is committed to reunifying with her daughter. Mothers goals are to find housing, employment, and reunify with her daughter. For these reasons, I am advocating for mother to have the need identified met. The main reason I am requesting this need to be fulfilled is because the youth that is living with mother is a picky eater, has a weight issue, and the mother will buy food that is specific to their culture. Mother has tried providing canned food and other but youth refuses to eat as he is very particular with the food that he eats. The youth is used to eating Salvadorian food that caregiver has made for him since he was little. To ensure the family has a safe environment for the children with the appropriate food, enhance the potential for permanency for this child. If this need is not met, the youth can potentially can result in physical well being of the child. This need is critical to ensuring that the family has enough food to eat while mother continues to look for employment the case does The estimated cost of the need/s being requested is $500.

Grandmother of two ages 5 and 3 years old is in need of 2 beds and 2 mattresses for the children. This grandmother is going through the process to obtain custody of her grandchildren. The grandmother will obtain custody of her grandchildren soon and is in need of 2 beds and 2 mattresses. These beds are crucial for her home to be approved. In order to keep this family together she needs to be an approved foster parent. The grandmother is employed but the beds are an added expense that she cannot afford. Her sustainability plan will be to continue working and once she has custody of the children she will obtain foster funding for them. Please assist this grandmother and help these children reunify with families.
