I am reaching out with a heavy heart to request support for a local family who is facing unimaginable grief and hardship. This family of four—one adult and three children—recently suffered the tragic loss of their spouse and father, who died by suicide.

He was the sole breadwinner, and his passing has left the family not only emotionally devastated but also in a sudden financial crisis. As they prepare for the upcoming funeral, they are in urgent need of basic hygiene items and appropriate clothing to attend the service with dignity.

I want to submit a request for a mother currently going through a difficult time and needs support. She urgently needs clothing for herself, as she is facing significant financial hardship. Any assistance we can provide whether through donations, vouchers, or community resources would be greatly appreciated and would help alleviate some of the immediate stress she is experiencing.

Youth is going to start living with her mother and is needing new clothes, as hers were lost when her mother moved. She has been working with a mentor to make sure she is set up for success once she is released. She is wanting a new start and is needing clothes to attend school and look for a job.

Caseworker is working with a family who is currently going through a separation. They were evicted from their apartment and Dad is currently renting a room through a coworker and is having a difficult time getting on his feet. He is requesting a gift card to help with gas in getting to work each day or with food to help with groceries for himself as he is spending his current extra money on being able to take his children places when he sees them. Dad is gainfully employed but is between paychecks at the moment and has been struggling financially, especially with the sudden move. Giftcards to grocery stores, gas stations, or Visa gift cards would be appreciated in helping him get a little support under his feet while he navigates this new normal.

This child is non verbal and autistic and placed with his grandfather. His grandfather is retired and doing his best to balance all the needs of the child. he is too big for his current car seat and needs a new one.

A 17 year old girl has been living with neighbors for the past school year due to safety concerns in her home of origin. She does have a job and has been paying for many of her own expenses, but senior year/leaving for college are expensive experiences. The family she is staying with have helped with graduation expenses but are unable to meet dorm room expenses. She is asking for a white twin sheet set, twin foam mattress topper, mini personal & portable fridge (white or gray), 3 tier utility rolling cart (white), lysol wipes, laundry detergent, basic girl toiletries such as tampons, toothpaste, razor, and a light pink towel set.

We are reaching out on behalf of a dedicated mother and her two young sons who are currently facing financial hardship. Despite her best efforts to provide for her family, the mother is struggling to make ends meet due to limited work opportunities and the growing burden of household expenses.

One of her most immediate needs is assistance with groceries to ensure her children have consistent, nutritious meals. To help ease this burden, she is kindly asking for support in the form of Walmart gift cards, which would allow her to purchase food and other essential items.

Your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated. I am requesting for $400 but anything $200 or more would be extremely helpful!

I am currently working with three children who were removed in an emergency situation this past Friday and placed in foster care. The children have been homeless for some time and prior to their removal they had to leave all of their belongings behind to seek shelter at a homeless shelter. Since being removed the children have no clothes of their own. This is the third time these children have been removed and it is a difficult process for them so having clothes of their own that feel comfortable for them will be so important to their overall wellbeing during this process. The oldest child is 14 years old and is having a really difficult time with not having any clothes that feel comfortable for her and allow her to express herself in such a small way. Please consider donating a Walmart gift card for these children to be able to pick out some clothes of their own. Thanks in advance!

One of our foster parents who cares for traumatized children in her home. Lately she has had many children placed in her care with challenging behaviors, to the point that it was unsafe for the child themselves as well as the others in the home. A particular youth in the home has destroyed the home and been physically aggressive. This has been a bit traumatizing for the provider, and the provider has had to pay a large amount of out-of-pocket expenses to repair the home to continue to accommodate other children in need. Foster Mom has provided a safe place for many children in the system and advocated for and met their needs, as well as shown them unconditional love which they have never had from a caregiver. We would like for her to continue to be able to do this good work and helping so many hurting children in need. This donation will help her to clean her home to provide that loving care for children that come into care by ensuring a habitable living environment for them.

A grandmother is caring for her two grandchildren ages 8 and 9 by herself. The kid's mom has been in and out of their lives. Grandma has been doing all she can to provide for the kids. She is in need of help paying for after school care as well as the school summer camp program for the kids. The total cost of the summer program is $4,794 for both children which is a large financial burden for her. Any amount towards this cost would be a tremendous help!

The Department is working with a family whose 6-month-old daughter is currently placed out of the home while they address the concerns which caused the case to open. The family is in need of assistance with the purchase of formula for their visits. They are struggling with this expense after taking time off of work to attend numerous medical appointments for their baby. These parents are engaged in all aspects of their case, having frequent, extended visits with their baby, and are eager to move their case forward. Baby is on Similac Total Comfort Formula and we are requesting up to 3 cans. Any assistance with this need so that parents can continue to work towards reunification is greatly appreciated!
