A large blended family with 12 children was recently ripped apart after it was learned that Dad/Stepdad had been sexually abusing a child for years. To prevent 3 teenage children from going into care a young adult sibling took them in. At the time both she and her husbands had jobs and had just purchased a new home. A day after the purchase her husband lost his oil field job. They have been working hard to provide for the children but are not currently able to get any public benefits due to legal complications and are in need of clothing and school supplies for the kids. The family has been reluctant to ask for help but the kid have maybe one outfit each. They are all currently looking for jobs to help but have not been able to find anything yet. Clothing and school supplies would be a huge help for the family.

This family has been affected by COVID. The father recently contracted the virus and has been unable to work for over a month. The mother's hours have been affected due to having to care for the father, social distancing and having to quarantine. The family is in need of a dryer. Their dryer is completely broke and there are added laundry needs due to everyone being in quarantine. The dryer they have right now is a Kenmore 600. The size is 30" x 26" however, the laundry room is large so, the new one can be bigger if needed.

The relative caregiver has had 5 of the 6 children placed with her since August 20, 2020. The 6th child came into her care on September 4, 2020. The caregiver applied for SNAP benefits, however did not receive benefits for the month of September. The caregiver already received emergency stamps from the HHS office for the month of August. The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) has provided the family with over $300 worth of groceries and has used local food banks to provide food for these children.
