Kinship provider is caring for a family members baby. This child was born premature with serious heart defects. The baby is very sick and requires ongoing hospital care as well as extensive round the clock medical care, for the short periods that she is discharged to the home. The kin provider is heart broken and a bit traumatized by how sick the baby is. Kin provider has identified that gas vouchers would be helpful and supportive to her at this time as she visits the baby in the hospital daily to receive care instructions, updates and because she loves her. Kin provider plans to get involved in counseling as an added layer of support. The ongoing side of the case is no longer providing gas vouchers due to budget cuts. Therefore, this cert worker is asking for gas gift cards for the family and is advocating for $200 but any amount is greatly appreciated!

A teenage girl is being sent to Third Way House, and her current clothes are not considered 'appropriate' for the program. She needs a few clothing items to compensate for this, so she is able to be accepted into the program. This is crucial, as no other safe placements for this young woman have been found. She needs 3 pairs of pants junior size large (jeans, sweatpants, and slacks) and 3 shirts also junior size large (t-shirts and or blouses are good, no tank tops).

This is a single kin provider who is providing kinship care for 9 children. 2 children are on our case, but she has taken 7 others into her care. She is working and doing the very best she can to provide for these children. The whole team adores this provider as she is amazing, kind, and hard working. She is on the path to adopt the 2 kinship children, but is needing assistance to get rid of junk from her home and garage. The team is needing a dumpster for this provider in order to be ready to pass the home inspection for adoption.

A coach stepped in to care for 3 boys ages 12, 14, and 16, who were physically abused and neglected in their home with their father. This coach has known the boys for a long time and immediately stepped in when the boys needed a safe home. The kin is a single father with 3 teenagers of his own and having 3 additional teenage boys in the home has been a challenge with making sure he can make ends meet with basic needs. One of the big things that is being requested is calling/ text minutes for the boys phones. They all have phones however, they only work on WIFI. With summer coming up, the kin provider is wanting more communication with them to know where they are at while kin is at work and just be able to have more communication. The kin is working on getting certified as a foster parent and is very close to this step, when this happens, he is able to get the boys their own numbers but until that happens, they are hoping to get the unlimited minutes.

I have a single mom with 4 kids that needs some help with formula and supplies. Mom has recently left a DV situation and is starting over. She needs formula for her newborn (Enfamil-yellow can) and hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion) for the baby and kids. Mom is currently using Dove sensitive products due to children having sensitive skin. By helping this family, you will support a single mom get back on her feet and provide for her young children.

These children were safety planned out of their home and placed into the care of their grandparents. the grandparents were working and needing help so both maternal and paternal grandparents are splitting time for the children so that they can maintain the placements. Both grandmothers lost their employment due to this placement so they are in need of support to care for the children.

The five-year-old is in need of twin size bed frame, as his mattress is currently on the floor of the home. I have provided a link to a bed that will work for the family.
