There's a young adult on my caseload who has aged out of foster care and is now experiencing employment barriers due to the need of a new car tire. This young adult has completed a CNA course and is slated to obtain employment in that field that is a bit of a distance to drive. Additionally, this young adult has a 5-year-old son that she also transports to and from school and having reliable and safe transportation is vital to meet the needs of this young adult and family. Further, this barrier also limits their ability to obtain and maintain consistent and stable employment which is a requirement of remaining in Extended Foster Care. Providing the young adult with a new tire will allow them to continue to be mobile, safely and accomplish their goals both in extended foster care and in life.

Single mother is taking care of her two girls with no help. She has a job but does not have financial means to get beds and things for her children. Mother would be grateful for the help to get beds and bedding for her children.

The young adult aged out of foster care. They are currently working full time and going to FSCJ to get her certification in Car Wrapping. She is a hard worker and strives to succeed. She has a driver license and her own car. She is wanting to pay her car off this year. She did get into a car accident in her rear bumper. She has purchased the bumper on her own. She is in need of someone to remove the dent out of the back so she can put on the bumper. This will need to be completed by a professional dent puller and someone can attach the new bumper for her, she is willing to help and learn. She has a passion for cars. We are not sure about the cost of this, we are reaching out for assistance and/or a mentor to learn new skills. Thank you for considering helping with this. She is currently driving her car without a rear bumper attached. Her car is a later model Honda Accord 2011. Estimated Value is $200-$600.

A resilient family who has recently transitioned out of homelessness is in need of household necessities since they have just moved into their own home—a major milestone and a fresh start!

Currently, the father is diligently searching for work and, after facing several challenges, is now partnered with an organization to receive job placement support. We are hopeful that with the right guidance and resources, he will soon be able to secure stable employment.

As they begin this new chapter, the family is in urgent need of basic household items. They have no furniture, which makes it difficult to create a safe and livable space. Additionally, their young son is in need of clothing appropriate for the season (size 14).
