Single biological father is providing care to his two young children, ages 3 and 5 years old. Father is struggling to provide clothing for the children, which is leading to the school age child to be made fun of in school. Any assistance providing these children with clothing is greatly appreciated. Children are both female, wearing sizes 4T and 5/6.

Hello. First off, thank you all in this county for all that you do as while you make my job a bit "easier" the reality is, we are working hand in hand to enrich family's lives one by one in this county, and for that I am incredibly grateful for this community! I am working with a young teen mom. This young lady is doing a fantastic job at ensuring all her infant son's needs are being met however any mom, any age, we put our selves last. This young lady is ever so slightly too young to obtain a job and her family's financial situation have her needs being met minimally. When i ask a kiddo if they have everything they need and they ask for something as simple as fitted bed sheets or pillows, it pulls at my heart strings. Her requests were simple... and i had to pull them out of her! fitted sheets , some pillows, and a carpet runner or a small area rug for a room about a 8x 10 ft carpet however two carpet runners, would work well too. This lovely lady explained that her favorite colors are pink and or purple.

Family of 5, soon to be 6 needs a refrigerator. There's has stopped working. A new fridge would help by keeping food fresh, they are currently using powdered milk because they cannot store fresh milk. The family faces many challenges and this has added to their stress and worry. They have actively been looking but have not been able to obtain one.

I have a family in need of safety nobs (child proof) for bedroom doors. The family has a curious toddler who likes to get into things.

I'm currently working with a family in the area who could benefit from a garbage haul load or dumpster haul away. The family consists of a single mother and her own mother caring for the two children. With only these two adults in the home daily it has been observed to be a barrier to their success in ensuring the home is clean and organized. While they try to clean the home, their physical abilities impact how well these chores are completed and there are many different large items and boxes full of of trash that would clear up the family's space. The family does not have accessibility to travel, haul away larger garbage items and their finances are limited to ensure the children's needs are being appropriately met. Also, they have only limited support from their friends and other extended family. If it were possible for any assistance, this would surely improve the children's well-being and overall ensure the safety of the home by providing them with a clean, organized space and with using all the family's finances to ensure their needs continue to be met.

The items that need to be hauled include; two or three mattresses (unknown size), a broken bunk bed frame, boxes of other trash belongings (unknown number) and a mid sized couch.

A case is open involving a child with high medical needs to prevent foster care. A baby is also living in the home. A friend of this child's young mother has petitioned the court for custody and is currently caring for the infant. Due to the young mothers untreated mental health and substance misuse, she lacks the skills and support necessary to care for this medically fragile infant. The friend and custodian who is the caretaker on this case has been caring for the child for several months and is in need of a crib, and a dresser for the child while she is caring for her. She has custody of this baby now and cares for her full time. They are also in need of a dresser for both children, and a couch.

The father suffered from a stroke several years ago, and is unable to work.

A relative resource has graciously stepped up to take in two small children in a relative foster care placement. In order to make this placement successful, two toddler beds and a dresser would be needed.
