There is a family of two adults 3 young children who experienced a power surge which blew all their electric heaters. They are asking for just one heater to keep the children warm. As our spring is unpredictable it is still a necessity.

A case is open involving a child with high medical needs to prevent foster care. A baby is also living in the home. A friend of this child's young mother has petitioned the court for custody and is currently caring for the infant. Due to the young mothers untreated mental health and substance misuse, she lacks the skills and support necessary to care for this medically fragile infant. The friend and custodian who is the caretaker on this case has been caring for the child for several months and is in need of a crib, and a dresser for the child while she is caring for her. She has custody of this baby now and cares for her full time. They are also in need of a dresser for both children, and a couch.

The father suffered from a stroke several years ago, and is unable to work.

A foster family is just getting a newborn from the hospital, but needs a bit of help with formula, diapers, and wipes until WIC starts. Newborn diapers, formula preference will be communicated.

A relative resource has graciously stepped up to take in two small children in a relative foster care placement. In order to make this placement successful, two toddler beds and a dresser would be needed.

Single mother of 2-year-old, who has second baby in home needs a baby gate to prevent children from falling down two flights of stairs. Both sets of stairs can be guarded by one gate. Having a baby gate will help to keep the children safe and secure on the main level of the home, where most household activities take place. Baby gates are currently on sale at Wal-Mart for $15.00

I have a family where three young boys have gone to live with their maternal great grandmother recently and she needs help getting some clothing and for the children. Grandmother is also looking for a bounce and play activity center (usually circle with a seat in the middle and things attached for child to play with) grandma wants to get child's mobility improved.

Chautauqua County has a 3 year old special needs child. The child was placed in a foster home; however, that foster home was unable to properly provide the level of care that this child needed and requested that he be moved. At this time because of the child's needs, Chautauqua County is having a difficult time finding a placement for him. This little guy has a feeding tube as he cannot have anything orally. He also is non verbal and is not mobile.

Chautauqua County has located a temporary placement; however, the foster home is in need of some basic supplies to assist with his every day care. They are in need of a crib, jogging stroller, and a high chair. If these items are obtained, it would make caring for him much easier as we want this family to be able to care for him until a more permanent home is found for him. A jogging stroller is being requested as he does constantly rock back and forth, and the family believes that he would be less likely to tip it over.
