The children came into care again in early 2023. They were reunified with family however this placement has recently broken down. The children have been placed with this caregiver due to emergency purposes, and a court custody has recently been approved. This caregiver has jumped in without much financial assistance to help meet the immediate and ongoing needs of the children. The timeframe is still pending when the caregiver will be able to receive non-relative caregiver funding. The caregiver is in need of assistance to move the children’s items from their previous placement. When the request is met, the kinship caregiver will be able to continue providing for the children’s basic needs with their items at their new residence.

$480 for a moving company (3 hours at $160)

A father of two is in need of a bicycle to get to and from work as he has no reliable transportation. Having a bicycle will allow him to get to work consistently, enhance his income, provide stability and be able to save up money to better provide for both of his children.

We are working with a single mom with young twins and a teen. The mom works full time and is a single mom. Tasks as simple as deep cleaning the house are tough with little twins. The family has requested help with a deep clean of the house to help this mom have one less thing to worry about.

Request is for family of 4 who have lost housing. They were able to borrow monies to purchase an RV from relatives and need to move onto an RV lot. They are currently parked at the rental property they had to leave. The county advised the family yesterday the family has to vacate the property by this coming Saturday. The family is contributing a portion of the balance needed. They are requesting assistance in amount of $500 in order to move onto the lot.

The family just moved to Tampa from New York. The Cg has legal guardian ship of the 2 children. The CG has had the children since birth, she is the maternal grandmother. The oldest child is 18 and just graduated, she has ADHD, Scoliosis. The 2nd child is a 7th grader with mental health-Schizophrenia. Im working on getting the children DCF benefits. The Cg is requesting assistance with Clothing/shoes for both children and a Laptop or phone for the 18-year-old for college. Thank you kindly

04/14/2025 This young mother needs childcare assistance as she just gave birth to a baby boy and has a 5-year-old daughter. The need for $200.00 is to assist with the daycare expenses for her daughter. This help will prevent her daughter from losing her slot while she is at home caring for her son who will need surgery for his cleft palette. Mom works as a hair dresser and plans to return to work as soon as she can find dependable daycare for her son

The caregiver is the Paternal Uncle of the child. The bio mom is incarcerated for a long time. The father is disabled. The uncle was referred to BAL but was denied due to a conflict of interest. Please assist this uncle with finding free or low-cost legal assistance so he can adopt his nephew. The child has disabilities and needs to be evaluated for ADHD and learning disability. The child needs to be evaluated and a tutor.

Single mother with 3 children (3/4/13 years old). Client is employed but work hours have decreased due to her being 7 months pregnant and having other medical issues affecting her health. Client doesn’t always have enough money to pay all of the household bills on time if at all as well as provide additional essentials such as feminine products for her 13-year-old daughter who just started her period and other items for the younger children and prepare for the baby on the way. Any assistance would be beneficial to the children, as mom works to ensure she continues paying household bills so the children don't end up homeless or without electricity.

The caregiver currently has placement of and is caring for one child in the dependency system however he has custody of 4 additional children who also live in the home. The family is in need of a washer and dryer. When the request is met the family will be able to save money and do laundry in the convenience of their own home.

Single working Mother of five ages 12. 11. 8. 6, and 3, is seeking help with obtaining a full-sized box spring for her 12-year-old daughter, living room furniture (sectional or couch/loveseat and coffee table), and pots and pans, cups and plates for a family of 6. A kitchen table and chairs seating 6 would also be very helpful to the family. Comfortable beds and a good night’s sleep are essential to a child’s health and wellbeing helping them focus in school. Household furniture and kitchen items will help this sparse apartment feel like a comfortable home for the family.

A single grandmother of two children, ages 14 and 11, whom she has recently received custody of, is in need of assistance. Currently, the children share a single twin bed that was damaged in a recent storm and has exposed springs. The bed is also too small for the growing children. The grandmother is requesting two full-size bed frames and mattresses so that each child can have their own space to sleep. This support will help the children get a good night’s rest, which is essential for their focus in school.
