17 year-old is reuniting with bio-family after family and foster placements didn't work out. They do not have enough beds for all the kids, and would like help obtaining 2 twin beds (frame, mattress, and box spring). Any amount of help would be so greatly appreciated. This family has been through a lot, and this agency is so excited that they are being reunited.

Family of 7, soon to be 8, is moving from a small apartment to a home of their own on July 1st. With this larger home and a new baby on the way, this family would greatly appreciate any support with home furnishing items to get them started!

I'm requesting a bunkbed for the children as they currently do not have a bed to sleep in.

Child with developmental and physical needs. Has a new adapted bike, but this bike needs a hand brake for her to safely use the bike. Cost is 123.75 and I can provide a link for payment if this need is granted.

A kinship placement is looking for a bike for a teenager. This would strengthen the family by allowing the teen an opportunity to cope with biking as well as independence for socializing and appointments. A gender neutral or male bike would be preferred. It is okay if the bike is used. It would also be helpful if there was a bike lock, too.

I am working with a single mom to a one year old child. Kiddo is in foster and visits with mom regularly. Mom is doing well and recently moved into supportive housing. Mom is looking for three tension baby gates with doors, four French doorknob locks, and a door stopper.

This request is for a family of 4 (parents, 3 year old, 2 month old) new to the community about 6 months ago. The only mode of transportation they own is a bicycle that the dad/husband uses to get to work. The nearest grocery store is 1 mile from where they live. To get there, they all walk, carrying the infant in his car seat carrier and holding the 3 year old's hand. They also walk to medical appointments, including Well-Child Visits, about 3 miles round-trip, church, and anywhere else they need to go if they are unable to find a ride. If dad is at work, mom is pretty much stuck at home as she cannot easily manage to carry the infant and hold the 3 year old's hand. This has prevented the family from being able to connect socially as well, which is also necessary for well-being.

This is a multi-generational home with a single mother of 4 children and one grandchild. The family had been homeless for quite some time and has now obtained stable housing. Due to being homeless for so long, the family was not able to keep many of their large furniture items. Mom is specifically looking for beds for the kids to help improve their sleep and overall well-being.

Single mother of 3 in need of two dressers and a Tv stand. Family recently moved and do not have anything to store their clothes.

Hi. I am working with a family who speaks only Creole/Haitian and very, very limited English. They are new to Rochester (having moved from Boston) and are in need of some basic furnishings. They are on a very tight income and have two kiddos. They are requesting a blender and microwave as well as a twin and full sized bed frame. Used condition would be fine. Mom is expecting her first baby the beginning of August. She is on a very limited budget and is requesting an infant car seat and stroller. (FYI--In the past we have used Graco snug ride car seat and stroller and they are very good and get high reviews with a decent price point.) Thank you so much for any help. Lisa
