This family consists of a single mom with a 13-year-old female child in need of support form the community. The family is asking for clothing for the child, who likes the colors pink and purple. She wears large shirts and her pants size is 12-14 women. The family is also in need of house hold items Pots, pans, silverware, bedding for a twin and full size bed, curtains, washcloths and dressers for storage of belongings.

Mother of two children is incarcerated and the children are staying with family. That family was displaced due to a situation with their last apartment and just obtained permanent housing. Family is requesting assistance with furniture.

A child was placed with a relative. I am requesting a bed for that child.

A single mom of 2 is in need of support!

Mom, a survivor of domestic violence, works full time as a bus driver, but is still struggling to make ends meet. She cares for her 2 children, an 11-year-old and a 2-year-old. The 2-year-old currently shares a bed with mom as she has not had the means to afford to get him his own bed. This leads to dysregulated sleeping for her and the 2-year-old. She is looking for help with getting a toddler bed for the 2-year-old to provide him a safe and appropriate place for sleep.

This family consists single mom and her three-year-old son who just got a new apartment and are moving out of a shelter. The mom had her belongings held in storage, but the storage unit leaked causing them to lose everything. The child's father is incarcerated and unable to help provide. I believe this mother and her son would greatly benefit from community aid in hopes to replace some of what was lost. The mother is requesting couches, bed frames sized twin and full, dishes and cooking ware, and spiderman toys for her three-year-old. Please note that the delivery address is Troy, NY 12180.

Grandma has recently gained custody and care of her 6 year old, non-verbal, autistic grandson. Grandma is disabled and her only income is SSI. The family is in the process of fixing up the home to meet the needs of the child. In addition to being non-verbal and autistic, the child self-harms and has received no services until recently. They have cleared a room and are in the process of baby-proofing it in order to create a safe space for the child to sleep and play. Grandma has bought several items for the child, but is in need of additional items to help him gain independence, explore, emotionallly regulate, and to allow the grandmother an opportunity to safely perform tasks around the home.

A Mother of 3 is looking for a full sized bed for one of her children and a dining room table that seats 4 people for her kitchen to help furnish her apartment. Theis will help support sleeping arrangements and for the family to be able to sit down and socialize during dinners.

Father and child are new to the country do not have family in the area. Father is a single parent of a 4 yr old male child, with limited funds. Father is struggling due to the language barrier. Father was hoping for assistance with a twin bed for his son and bedding. He could also use a two floor lamps for lighting. Father was hoping for a small couch as they have nothing.

This family is in desperate need of clothing storage. Clothes are stored in laundry bags and these are sitting in a shopping cart in the living area of the home. Family is asking for dressers to store clothes and make the home more functional. The family is able to assemble dressers themselves so dressers that require assembly are fine. Any type of clothing storage option is greatly appreciated.

We are currently working with a single mother of five children who is in between moving homes but cannot afford a uhaul to move her and the children/s items into the new home and does not have a vehicle.
