The mother is in need of assistance with purchasing an INNOD Kitchen Step Stool sturdy stool which is able to provide safety for the child as it has adjustable height, safety rail and 150 lb capacity for stability and security. If this need is met it will help the special needs child to participate in the home such as kitchen, bathroom, and living room safely.

Single parent household - father passed away and family is limited to one income. Family is in need of groceries, paper products (toilet paper, paper towel, etc.) and cleaning products.

The department is currently working with a family in the Galax area. The family has a seven month old child and the great grandmother is serving as a caregiver of the child from time to time. The great grandmother is currently wheel chair bound and is in need of a new wheel chair ramp as she is struggling to get in and out of her trailer.

Child is in need of closes in order to help support the family due to financial strain. The child needs socks, underwear, shirts, pants, and shoes. The child is a youth size 12 and shoes size 8. If this need was met it would help the child through the summer season as the family works on financially getting back on track.

The father who had primary custody of his two children had to be placed in hospital due to an incident in which he may not recover. The current placements for the children need assistance with clothing as they did not have much and gas cards to get them to appointments for their mental and sibling visits. If these needs are met it will help the children with clothing for the summer season and address their mental health with the situation of the loss of their primary custodian and the siblings having to be separated from each other.

The department is currently working with a family of a single mother with three children. The mother's minivan is in need of repairs and the mother is struggling to make ends meet. The mother is residing in the Hillsville area.

THIS FAMILY HAS RESIDED IN VIRGINIA FOR SOME TIME. THEY HAVE A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD THAT REQUIRES CONSTANT SUPERVISION AS WELL AS TWO YOUNGER CHILDREN.

THIS FAMILY IS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE TO RENT EQUIPMENT TO REMOVE LARGE DEBRY WHERE AN OLD HOUSE COLLAPSED. THEY WILL BE MOVING A DOUBLE WIDE ON THE PROPERTY AND DUE TO THE COST OF FIXING THEIR WELL EARLIER THIS YEAR, THEY ARE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE.

A foster family with 5 biological children took placement of a sibling group of four on Friday. They are in need of items for a 3 year old girl and a baby girl. Listed below are their sizes.
