A single mother with a fifth-grade son finally moved out of the homeless shelter and into a small house. The house has no air conditioning and as summer arrives, the space is heating up. Mom and son have overcome a great deal and a window air conditioning unit would help them make their house a safe and comfortable home as they begin to rebuild their lives.

Young newly moved in couple have an apartment and are in process of getting their place set up to feel like home for themselves and their kids. They some items that need to be put away in a safe and child proof environment. Thank you any help is appreciated.

There is a child in a kinship placement. The relative that is caring for the child, is required to complete trainings regarding the placement. The family is in need of a computer, in order get the trainings completed in a timely manner. Due to finances, the family is unable to pay for a computer at this time. By assisting this family with a computer or tablet, it will allow the family to remain united and secure the relative caring for the child to complete all tasks needed for the trainings required for the family.

Immediate need for transportation of 16 year old youth to basketball practice for the summer as he recently was placed in a foster home that has conflicts with foster parent's work schedule. Foster parent is requesting assistance for transport via a LYFT card to facilitate the youth retaining existing relationships with coach and teammates for his well being. It is about a 30 minute ride. He has practice 5 days a week. It would be approximately $120 a week/$24 a day during the summer months. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We have a family on the road to adoption of a sweet teen boy while raising 4 biological children of their own. The family recently moved into a new home to accommodate the whole family and ended up having a very rough start due to plumbing, inspections, and their truck breaking down. We have a great grandmother fostering the two sweetest great granddaughters. Grandmother lives on a fixed income and the girls coming into her home was very unexpected. Grandmother is not receiving a stipend until July and has no transportation. She has now used all her savings to get the girls clothes, diapers, formula, etc. Grandmother is behind on rent and facing eviction if she cannot come up with the money. We are hoping for a miracle to help this sweet woman and these two beautiful girls. They are so happy with their great grandmother, and we would love to be able to keep them with her. This household has endured some much hardships they were displaced not too long ago. Through determination and resilience, they managed to rebuild their lives, secure a new home, and finally regain stability. Just as they began to turn things around, their car unexpectedly broke down at a store, putting them at risk of losing their only means of transportation. The day they finally were able to find someone to tow the car off the store property it was impounded, adding another devastating obstacle to their recovery. Without the funds to retrieve their car from impound, this family faces devastating consequences. Their vehicle is not just transportation, it's their lifeline to work, a crucial source of supplemental income, and their means to afford rent and essential utilities. Losing it would jeopardize their stability and well-being. This small act of support could make all the difference, ensuring they don’t lose their vehicle and can continue moving forward. Any emergency assistance, no matter how small, would be an incredible relief in a time of great need.

Hello all! A local foster family is in need of assistance as the foster dad has recently been laid off from his job. The foster family has been able to take care of most bills, but are struggling with the gas bill and it is at risk of shutting off. Please let me know if you can assist

Single mom is needing assistance with air conditioning. Her air conditioner went out and the technician told her today that they will order the part tomorrow and it will not be here until the end of the week or possibly next week. They also said that if that did not fix it, she would need a new system that she cannot afford and would also take longer to get that installed. The house consists of foster mom, 2 adult children, 1 other adult, 3 children placed in the home through kinship and 4 children placed in the home through traditional foster care. One of the children has special needs. They do not have anywhere to stay as they stated they are the home that everyone comes to stay at. This is an emergency need due to the heat and the children being home all day. We are asking for any assistance with HVAC help/discounts or suggestions.

We have a mom who is in need of transportation assistance to visit her child. This mom has been working very hard to see her daughter on a weekly basis. She works a full time job, participates in services and does not have a vehicle. This mom is working hard and rides the bus when she is able to, however, the bus does not stop close enough to her daughters placement. This causes her to have to walk a lengthy distance. Uber or Lyft financial support would help tremendously for this mom to be able to have more visitation with her daughter on a more consistent basis.

At Hope Pregnancy Center, we support young men and women in the midst of unplanned pregnancies. At each appointment, we offer each client a bag full of gifts and resources. We love including beautiful Bibles in these bags. Often, these young parents share that it is their first Bible, or the nicest one they have ever received. I have personally spoken with clients who share that they began reading their Bible after leaving our center. Because we want to give a good quality, intentional gift, ordering these Bibles is one of our greatest expenses. You can abundantly bless these young families by helping us place a Bible in someone's hands during every visit.

Aunt and Uncle recently took placement of their 3 nephews, ages 8, 7, and 4. This family is currently borrowing booster seats for the two youngest children but will need to obtain their own. This family just took placement on 06/06 so they will not be receiving any financial assistance for at least 2 weeks and would greatly appreciate help with the car seats so that they can focus on purchasing food, clothing, and other items needed. The family is needing a Highback Booster car seat for the 4 year old and a Backless booster seat for the 7 year old.
